Calderon starting w/ Rose injured. Well here is his chance to step up or punch his ticket farther out of the rotation when Rose is able to play . I don't see Jose doing enough to get the job up until now,so we shall see if that changes playing with Lebron. Either way I think he fails defensively compared to other options we could be utilizing.

I'd start Shump ahead of Calderon. Calderon shouldn't start. I mean dude shouldn't even be on the roster.

well I hope he can at minimum play smart and actually make some shots, but I think he is just past his days of being relevant.
I would even be inclined to run some of these line ups Lue has been experimenting with that were good defensively that didn't include Jose or Rose before I inserted Jose into the starting gig. We shall see.

Calderon is soooo bad. He has not business starting a game in the NBA.

Magic up 22-6 in the 1st quarter.

It almost seems like the Cavs are tanking this game to make up for the Nets beating the Magic last night.

So they can help the Magic have a better record than the Nets.

I have no other explanation because it would be pretty embarrassing if the Cavaliers lose to the team that just lost to the Nets.

Starting Calderon was dumb. It's not easy to make Augustine look like Curry. Also, we're on a back to back & LBJ rarely does the dirty work required of a good PF in the regular season. Tonight, hes not even faking it. No help defense. No boxing out.

I'm beginning to worry about Lue as a coach. He's got Shump, Wade, & TT on the floor at the same time. Magic have Biz in the game.

Okay start of the second half and no Calderon. This is good.

Shump & Wade starting together on the other hand is not.

Sloppy passing is killing us.

This team has ridiculously long offensive slumps. My goodness, why do people think this team has gotten better?

Lue is probably going to make Lebron play the entire 4th quarter in a losing effort.

11 assists? Man it's looking like we need to go back to LeBron and 4 shooters. This is awful. Of course, you can't have assists unless you can makes some shots too.

I mean without Rose & IT, we essentially don't have a NBA-caliber PG on the roster. But JR should probably start.

I mean- if you watched the first two games there really wanst a real offense--- it was just smart veteran nba players playing pick and roll here and there--- kind of like team usa basketball.

they need to learn a real offense and how to move the ball---- that is going to take a while. It cant just be pick and roll with limited ball movement

Basically our entire board is in shock. Good game fellas, feels good breaking that 68 game winning streak.

My question to yah is why start Calderon and not Wade at the point or simply surround Lebron with all shooters; he basically is running point forward the majority of the time anyways.

This better be our worst game of the season . No excuses for that embarrassing shooting %.
Calderon is worthless, everyone shot poorly though & despite closing the gap to within 7 with Shumpert eliminating some of the defensive failures ,Lue puts Smith and Korver in takes Shump out then LeBron out and orlando scores 12 unanswered .then proceeded to blow it wide open just like the first half when Jose was starting. Only positive was Osman and Zizic got some pt

I'm hoping that was Lue showing the front office that Calderon isn't a NBA pg anymore - just like I hope him starting Wade is designed to show people why it won't work.

The more fundamental issue we have is that LBJ isn't really playing the 4 in terms of boxing out & helping on defense.
