Rose isn't back already unless something changed in his recovery, probably be Calderon again for 5 minutes just to remind Altman how bad Calderon is before Shumpert subs in to remind Altman how much value he brings to the table.

This reasoning is so much better than the other alternative, that being that Lue really is this stupid.

Yes playing Calderon at all is absolutely not optimal, but other than him being a high iq player that can't get it done at this level anymore,I don't see any other reason to utilize him over Wade or Shump at the 1 to start. If Lue is stupid, then I guess that also makes sense

I refuse to believe that there aren't guys better than Calderon currently in the D League.

Yeah I would try **** London Perrantes at the 1 before I played Calderon again, but Lebron is apparently starting at the 1 tonight so I guess London is out as a reasonable option and hopefully so is Calderon for good.

TT finally gets back in the starting line up and is literally adding nothing while on the floor.

I was excepting an improvement with this new Cavaliers Starting line up of Lebron James, JR Smith, Jae Crowder, Kevin Love, and Tristan Thompson.

But once again the Cavs look awful to start the game.

Coming off a total embarrassment to the Magic, if they lose to the Bulls, at what point do they hit the panic button?

I dont think you could come up with a good enough excuse to lose back to back to two of the worst teams in the entire NBA.

The only blessing in disguise I can think of is that this could help the Nets have a worse record than teams like the Magic and Bulls. But then again the Cavs may just panic and trade the Nets pick to try and get quick fix/upgrade impact player if they keep losing in an “All or Nothing” mentality.

This is their 4th game. They've had three different starting line ups with multiple players playing different positions. There starting PG is out. Their backup PG is out. There aren't any *impact players* available who would be anywhere near that pick. Keep dreaming though.

We have no less than two players on the court at all times who think defense is something other players should do.

I’m not dreaming at all. I hope the Cavs do keep the pick. But obviously there’s been a ton of discussion in the media and by fans here on realgm wether or not they should trade the pick or keep it.

If the Cavs continue to struggle, that might influence there decision on what they do with the pick.

And course the guy we just cut that never got minutes unless it was garbage time (Kay Felder) is lighting is up

I’m sorry but all I can do is just laugh at that.

I would rather have kept Felder over a washed up Jose Calderon

Rose & Shump are the only two players on the Cavs roster who can guard opposing PGs. JR can for limited minutes. But that's it.

Shump is actually giving effort tonight which is good. TT is not which is bad. I mean if you're the energy/dirty-work guys, you've got to bring that every night.

Every year the league makes moving screens a point of emphasis and every year the officials abandon it by the third game.

Lauri is looking like an absolute steal in the 2017 Draft.

In other news the Magic are down by 5 points to the Nets with 6 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. :(

Still time left. C’mon Magic..

Edit: Nets lost!

Now it’s time for the Cavaliers to CRUSH the Nets tomorrow night, breaking their spirit. Then hopefully the Nets go on a long losing streak.

The Cavaliers just cannot come out lackadaisical against the Nets tomorrow like they have been these last two games against the Magic and Bulls.

They need to come out there from the very beginning with defensive intensity and crush their spirit early.

Lebrons minutes played so far in these first 4 regular season games.

Versus Celtics = 41 minutes

Versus Bucks = 37 minutes

Versus Magic = 31 minutes

Versus Bulls = 37 minutes.
