Is it time for Austin Carr to go?

Maybe i'm just redirecting my frustration with the team, but Carr is almost intolerable. The amount of repetition he brings to a broadcast has to be unparalleled and working so hard to make his nicknames a thing is exhausting.

Ok. End rant.

The Homer-ism drives me crazy on Cleveland podcasts....every ball that goes out of bounce he's like, "It should be Clevelands!".

Yeah I'm kind of over him little bit but I will give him this he will not hold back when it comes to criticizing the team for being lazy.

Love the guy. Super nice and friendly according to people I know who have met him. It'd definitely be nice to have some more intelligent, objective broadcasters. It'd be sad to see him go though.

I’d actually like to see AC be the Head Coach instead of Lue.

He seems to know what he’s talking about when he points out all of the Cavaliers flaws during their struggles and what they need to do. Plus he’s also a former player (better than Lue).

Yeah he has a stake in it and his frustration or elation with bad vs good things they do is definitely not objective or impartial, but that's what is great about him, he cares and understands exactly what they need to do most of the time.
Most impartial other network commentators just babble on about nothing , getting the names wrong , hell even telling the stories about the players wrong etc. I hated having to listen to Jackson with the Warriors bias and Van Gundy a northern California native for the last 3 years in the finals. sick of "bang" ,"momma there goes that man" etc.

I would much rather hear "got him a [players name] bird" ,"get that weak stuff outta here", "From deep in the Q or whatever arena it is" along with "mouse in the house", " it's a beautiful thing"
& my favorite non catch phrase comment from him after the knick's game poor start : "The Cav's have to understand they are no longer respected,so they have to start making people respect them, they're not going to lay down for 'em , and if you keep thinking that's going to happen ,your'e gonna keep getting this.you gotta go out; the Cav's only average 16 fouls a game, that's the lowest in the league".

also enjoy Fred McLeod's stuff like :" Convenient banking hours","Goes video game on him", "Right down Euclid" & my favorite which is in the past;"a Delly trey" or his new one "mr. 4th Korver".
love these guys man they the real deal
