Browns Thread Part 2/ Texans Picks Watch

Post#1 » by tundraknight » Fri Nov 3, 2017 5:58 am

I know the other one eventually got locked. But felt like discussing more Browns. Particularly geared more toward their future.

It looks like the Browns will likely get the #1 Overall Pick yet again.

Also Deshaun Watson just tore his ACL in practice so the Texans 1st Round Pick that the Browns own will probably be a very high pick as well.

The Texans are currently 3-4, but I can’t see them winning many more games with Watson out for the season.

So the Browns could end up with another Top 5-10 Pick to go along with the 1st overall pick.

The Browns own both of the Texans 2018 1st and 2nd Round Draft Picks.

What Top college football propescts would you guys like the Browns to Draft?

Well it looks like the Browns may finally get their first win in nearly a year if they can hang on to this lead against the Packers.

Edit: Nevermind. The Browns just blew a 21-7 lead.

The Texans just lost to the 49ers!!!

The Texans remain at 4 wins for the season.

That would currently be around the 6th or 7th pick range to go along with the #1 overall pick for the Browns.

Yep, Cleveland Browns are certainly finding new ways to lose. Sweet Christmas.

I found it interesting with the firing of Browns GM Sasha Brown that people say he’s the “NFL’s version of Sam Hinkie”.

Also the Texans Pick just moved up to the 5th overall pick with the Broncos win last night.

As a Canadian I am cheering for the Browns. I guess it's because Canadians are used to being the underdog. I hope they have a stellar draft. Is there still a clear cut #1 pick/qb in draft??? I don't follow college football much

Not clear cut but Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold are supposed to be the two best quarterbacks in the upcoming draft.

Also the Texans pick could be 3rd overall if the Texans lose to the Colts next week.

Here’s a current mock draft

At least the Browns secured Excellent Draft Positioning with 2 Premium Picks (#1 and #4 overall).

Has Rosen entered his name in the draft? If so, I hope Cleveland gets him.

The brilliant NFL analyst Mel Kiper Jr has the Browns taking Josh Allen #1 overall in his latest Mock Draft.

Josh Allen has been soaring up the Mock Draft boards because of his potential.

I’ve seen some Big Ben Roethlisberger comparisons.

He also has the Browns taking arguably the best overall talent in the draft in Saquon Barkley 4th overall.

I’d love to have an elite running back. Have we even had an elite running back since the Jim Brown era? Lol.

But then again, I’d be hard pressed to pass up on Minka Fitzpatrick at #4 overall as he is like a “Queen on a chessboard” type of defensive player that can play every secondary position at a very high level.
