Impressive win over Toronto last night! Lebron has really been phenomenal lately.
I am surprised how much G. Hill has underperformed since going to Cleveland, but he certainly was hot last night. Like Lebron says, Hill just needs to be more aggressive taking his shots and hopefully get in to a rhythm heading in to the playoffs. Hill is a very capable three point shooter.
Rodney Hood's up and down performance at Cleveland doesn't surprise me. Playing for the Jazz, he had multi game stretches with very low shooting percentages that were then offset with a couple of games where he is hitting most everything. His defense and rebounding are weak all the time, so in the multi game stretches where his shooting percentage is low, he can hurt a team. In addition, he was always missing games here and there with nagging injuries like he is doing now with Cleveland.
Be careful that Hood doesn't take you out of a playoff series if he is on a cold streak and is giving up a lot on defense. My advice is when Hood starts out the game badly missing his shots, limit his minutes for that particular game. Somebody probably has the actual statistic somewhere, but visually to me it always seemed like that if Hood started out the game cold, he stayed cold for the entire game, whereas if he started out the game hot, he stayed hot for the entire game.
Good luck in the playoffs. Holding on to the number three seed where you are now and getting back Nance and Thompson, you should be in a very competitive position heading in to the playoffs.
