A lot riding on this game with the draft pick and a win tonight and a win by Bucks over Philly locks us into 3rd and Bucks into 6th for the first round, buts could lock us into the 9th pick as well.

A loss tonight and a loss by the Nets and a win by the Bulls & we are tied with Chicago for the 7th pick. A loss tonight and a win by the Nets tonight and we are tied with NY for the 8th pick even with a Bulls loss [ of course there is also that if we win and the Nets win we are locked into the 9th pick.]

3 seed also means we would face Boston or likely the Wizards in the semi's who should take the 7th seed tonight against Orlando But Miami plays the Raptors pretty good so tonight heat Raps game is a toss up and there could be a tie for 7th where I think Miami just looking at the tiebreaker scenarios would get the 7th seed over Washington & we could get the Heat in the semi's.

If we lose or if we win and Philly wins we are locked into 4th against the Pacers in round 1
and would face the Raps or the Bucks with a loss tonight who would likely drop top 8th with wins by Miami and Washington tonight.

I don't like playing Indy in Indy, but we will have the home court in that series so I think the Pacers round 1 and Raptors/Mia/Wiz round 2 is no worse or better than Bucks in first round followed by Bos/Mia/Was.

Best case scenario we lose by resting players, Boston still beats Nets with scrubs, Chicago wins

Play Lebron and the starters for a half, let him get his 10+ points and then lose with the bench. Hopefully the pick moves up a spot or two and lets get ready for the Pacers.

Love resting definitely a sign we don't care about the 3 seed, but doesn't ensure we will lose given the team we're playing benefits from losing.
Hopefully LeBron plays LTD minutes

Bucks are Getting crushed so we have no incentive to win good to see that's the plan with LBJ done after getting his 10.
Now we just need the Boston scrubs to win which they are doing right now.

Baynes is destroying the Nets right now (18/10 at the half). If Boston doesn't play him in the second half, we'll be in trouble.

Fortunately as long as the Knicks beat us, we'll at worst have a chance for the 8th spot. This Perrantes-Cedi-Holland-Tristan-Zizic lineup ain't winning.

Yep he has just been absolute disgrace this season except of a couple of games. He looks completely lost on the offensive end with no Irving missed chuck shots to get put backs on.
