Ugh. TT is starting again. Against KAT, I'd start Zizic.

This is such a joyless miserable team to watch.........I am sorry I just cant sugarcoat it. They do nothing well. The vets are soft. They dont defend. I just dont see what anyone can like about this team. they will not win 30. I will be shocked if they win 25.

Our bench is straight garbage tonight. Zizic is a third string center so that's not helping. Dekker is probably a third string big as well. We need Nance back.

Love is embarrassing right now. They better trade him before everyone else figures it out.

D. Rose is just torching Clarkson. Sexton isn't ready to run an NBA offense. We've got to keep G. Hill this year. I'd trade Korver and JR in a heartbeat though.

this is the worst team in the league. I actually am a little relived. The Cavs continue this charade of not needed a true big man. They need a legit shotblocking low post scoring 7 footer.

I don't know that they need a low posts 7 footer, but absent LBJ and Kyrie, TT shouldn't be starting. Towns, like Ibaka and JV, don't even bother guarding him.

If our bench unit is going to let the other team's scorers get going like this, it's going to be a long season. There's a lot of confidence players in the NBA and once they start, it's hard to shut them down.

Its not about offense its about defense. TT offers no shot blocking and no size or length. Its not his fault but he should be a 4th big man at best.

I’m not terribly worried yet. We have yet to play a home game and the first team we played is a legit contender now, and Minnesota will definitely be even better this season.

I really wish we wouldn’t try to play the same pace as the T-Wolves. We need to slow it down a little, not play so frantically.

It's kind of about offense in the sense that TT hangs around the paint and his defender isn't worried about guarding him. It' makes it harder for your wings to drive and if Love can't get the shot up in a half second, he's getting double teamed.

When Kyrie and/or LBJ were here, they'd run that high PNR so TT and his defender were well outside the lane.

I want to see him be something other than indifferent on defense.

Yeah, more hustle on defense from the team period would be nice. Second and third chances on the boards is insane.

Edit: Second half about to start. See y’all at the end of the game.

When you look at Love....his stats say one thing but he has got to be the definition of fools gold when it comes to winning basketball.

Lue must have done a good job firing up the guys at halftime. Jordan Clarkson played well too. His defensive effort was good, and he is so much better when he drives to the basket like he did. He really should start at the 2. If he started it would be nice to have three ball handlers on the court at once. Kinda like Papaloukas, Diamantidis, and Spanoulis.

I’m just glad we fought back to make it a more interesting game.

I mean we always look worse when he's off the floor. Always. It was the same last year. I think fans want him to be something he's not but that doesn't mean he's not a net positive player. I do think having a center who is an actual offensive threat on the floor, maybe one who could make a shot outside of the three feet away from the basket, will help not only Love but our wings.

Love's other problem is there are two players on the Cavs who are good passers and Love is one of them. Cedi and Sexton may get there but right now they're turning it over too much. I agree re: Clarkson. He's really a SG in a PG's body. I'd start him over Hood.

Cavs F.O. has some decisions to make re: Korver, JR, Zizc, and possibly Dekker and Frye. Those aren't fast paced players. I could see holding onto Zizic as a cheap third string center for situational match ups off the bench but the rest of these guys don't really fit with what they want to do. Cavs signed Nwaba for his defense. That second unit sure could use it.

I will be going to the Cavaliers home opener this Sunday versus the Hawks.

I’m looking forward to witnessing the very first NBA match up of Trae Young versus Collin Sexton live in person.
