yeah i mean he is poised to break out offensively probably at least where he is shooting better and consistently.
looks like he will remain in the fire as a starter, not sure i would do it that way but it is what it is.

Wow the Knicks are bad... and people were saying the Cavs were going to be the worse team

I like Garlands court vision and upside , but if Sexton was playing this kind of defense last year and within the offense like he is after a full off season i wonder if they would have taken someone besides a pg.Granted Collin is better as a scorer but given how much he has improved i have no doubt he will improve as a passer as well.
Garland is more a pg than Sexton, but DG has a lot of work to do in the gym to really max his abilities.
whatever the case may be if Sexton keeps playing like this and Love isnt traded...they could easily lose the pick

If Sexton only plays that well one out of every ten games, the pick isn't going anywhere. The Knicks big men are a train wreck defensively. In order for Sexton to take his game to another level, he has to be able to recognize when he's playing against good rim protectors and adjust how he plays as a result.

He's still too much of a one read QB to be the primary ballhandler on a good team.

right now sure but at the rate hes going he could easily be a superior distributor to Garland ...
but i think he has found his nitch off ball and there is no sense in him trying to be something he isnt esp if Garland can make as much improvement by this time next season as Sexton has.

Garland and Sexton are both playing on the ball at times. The mix is pretty reasonable I'd say.

We can hope even expect Collin develops better PG skills but you have to plan based on what you see at the time. Hopefully Darius learns work ethic from Collin and Collin learns something about playmaking from Darius and Delly.

I've heard it said we made a mistake not hiring a former PG to the coaching staff ... but perhaps Delly is sort of a player coach at this point.

The coaching staff seems to be working together terrifically so far and part of that is that there's been near zero friction. Given how things went in the past, it's a minor miracle.

I even noticed our guards setting screens for our bigs ... how many years was it before we saw Kyrie and LeBron try that?

Right there does not seem to be any egos at all on this roster , and maybe the only players I am a little concerned about in that fashion are Knight if Garland isn't earning the minutes over him, just being gifted them, and Nance to some degree getting lesser minutes because they are showcasing TT
