We really struggle against teams that defend well. Sexton needs to understand this isn't a team he can over dribble against.

I like TT's work ethic but he really struggles against true 7 footers. I don't mind handing him a big one-year deal next summer, but if it's a multi-year deal, it better not be at a starter's salary.

Garland looks really good with that second unit.

Dumping the ball off to TT in the paint when Lopez is just camped there, and Gianis leaves Love to help, is bad basketball. I'd have Nance in against Brook tbh. You have to make Lopez leave the paint defensively.

My concern about Beilein is he's oblivious about match ups. TT is a total liability against the Lopez brothers on offense. They don't even pretend to guard him and he can't get put backs or garbage buckets on those dump offs.

It lets the rest of the Bucks cheat defensively and we're giving up way too many points in transition as a result.

I don't understand how TT is still in the game. Just put Nance in.

Someone else has to take one for the team and watch the fourth quarter.

So TT was 8-18 while trying to score in the post against 7 footers in that loss. I don't know if it's Beilein not seeing the need for the obvious adjustment, or being reluctant to bench our *team leader* for a game, but it needed to happen.

The Bucks essentially played illegal defense the entire game but got away with it because TT doesn't even have an elbow jumper. The young guys drove into the paint against a team with two seven footers, again, and either dumped it off to TT or turned it over resulting in fast break points the other way.

For a half a decade, the book on the Lopez brothers is they don't have the footspeed to recover so make them guard the perimeter. The fundamental problem you're seeing in these big losses is that the other teams are dictating how we play offensively and it's the way they want us to play.

When it comes to depth, we have the most versatile front court in the NBA. We had the ability to force Giannis and the Bucks make hard choices. Instead we had a box score where TT went 8-18. That's on the coaching staff.

That was the Oct 28th game ... TT was 6-11 for 12 points and had 7 offensive rebounds in this game (he had 5 offensive rebounds in the Oct 28th game). So, he is taking advantage of the situation is his way ... which isn't to say that better floor spacing and rim protection would help in other ways.

Still. It was awful. The Bucks just dictated the offense we would run for the entire game and led to a lot of turnovers.

Well ... at this point, our offense simply doesn't stand a chance against good defensive teams with length and because of that our defense probably doesn't either.

When defenders ignore him, Tristan should probably be setting off the ball screens for our best shooter rather than crashing the boards. Not sure what the analytics say on that, but I think players feel better about themselves when they score the points on the first try and not the second or third - and that's a very effective way to get a good look. Still, the ball handler can't have tunnel vision on his drives and would need to be expecting and looking for it.
