I really like Morant's game, and was hoping the Cavs would be able to draft JJJ a few years back but he obviously didn't fall to us, so I'm looking forward to watching the Grizzlies tonight. They are probably my second favorite team (outside any team that will give us a first for KLove). Maybe we will see Morant try to jump over Love again.

They are young and talented for sure.

Im more interested to see the continued progression of Garland. He has been great and it really seems like he has been settling in over the last 10 games or so.

The biggest issue and someone needs to ask JB this--is the Cavs turn the ball over at a incredibly high clip. Its so hard to watch sometimes when it seems like they cant complete a entry pass without a TO or execute a P&R without a TO or blocked shot.

All I want is no wasted possessions and clean looks. I am fine with missed shots, its just the constant turning over of the ball every 3 or 4 possessions that drives me insane.

Delly/Sexton off the bench is probably my favorite Sexton back court. Just let Sexton do his thing against the other team's second unit. Delly can run a play every four plays or so that other guys touch the ball. I might try to replace Delly with Dunn this summer.

And of course Exum steps on an official's foot and sprains his ankle.

I really can't stand Crowder. Also, TT needs to be setting high picks for as long as JV is in the game. He's really bailing out out the defense by rolling to the rim as early in the offensive possessions as he is. JV wants no part of the high PNR.

JV is now playing illegal defense on every play. If they're not going to call it, Nance needs to come in for TT.

Pretty sure that's Love's first FGA in the 3rd quarter. Coming with 3:54 left.

Beilen is very poor at spotting matchup issues. Frankly, I'm growing concerned about the assistant coaches at this point. TT is just not a positive asset on the floor against big 7 footers, particularly ones that park themselves in the paint.

Not only dies he give you nothing offensively against those guys, but he bails the other team's defense out by allowing guys like Lopez and JV to play rim protector. Nance has to come in there.

And Nance needs to park his rear at the three point line now that JV is back in the game.

Good game for Sexton after starting off 2 for 6 with the starters. He's a lot better once he's already cooking and I don't think there are many second units that have the personnel to cause him problems.

Officials did us a favor by tossing TT. I would've like to seen us Love as a decoy in the last minute as that was the only time all game JV left the paint. That back cut was there and we didn't need a three pointer.

Yeah, Crowder is a punk. Didn't like him in Boston, didn't like him when he was here, and don't like him now. And I also can't stand Grayson Allen either. Maybe its just the constant smirk he seems to have but more likely its the way he seems to enjoy his little cheap shots and the reputation he has for that type of stuff.
Anyhow, it seems like Morant didn't bring his "A" game either time against the Cavs, but his change of direction with the ball is something to see. JJJ getting in early foul trouble was unfortunate for him. The Cavs comeback was impressive again against this team. I wonder if Memphis takes the Cavs lightly, being that they just beat Houston and have (now) a 7 game winning streak.

It is no coincidence that our comeback started when TT got ejected. I like TT, but it is beyond clear that the guy struggles mightly against big 7 footers. He actually hurts the team when you leave him out there in that situation. Turning guys like Lopez and JV into DPOY candidates is a coaching failure tbh. If they're leaving TT in there to boost his trade value, it's probably having the opposite impact.

Turnovers because the kids are seeing new things is something we need to live with in the short term.

Are you talking about the Memphis game, or the Bulls game?

Just talking in general. What I'm saying is that dumbing things down or playing vets more to get TO's under control would be the wrong approach.
