Why are the Cavs over here hellbent on aquiring 2nd round picks in 6-7 years from now lol
The Cavs have traded six second round pick in the last 18 months. Four for KPJ and two for Drummond. If we're collecting them so we can make trades without touching our first round picks, I'm all for it.

Tucker brings a freakish explosive guard who can easily keep up with Sexton and Okoro and apparently has developed a reliable 35% or better 3 point stroke and has some serious potential still.
I actually think he might make the roster on a two -way ...but I think for the most part they just bought a 2nd and will take a flier on this guy in training cam p and have yet another off ball 2 guard that rebound finish above the rim and hit the outside shot.
The Cavs basically got the lesser know version of Cassius Stanley athletically and a combo guard who has improved as a passer enough to run the offense as needed.
here is a taste of his explosiveness DAMN

yeah maybe they will negotiate a cheaper deal as expected instead of just paying his full amount. being waived was kind of a given but if they keep him on board or not is yet to be determined. I think if his playmaking and defense are appealing enough to keep around the shooting and finishing should at least get him a job in canton if nothing else esp with the KPJ scenario hanging around.
Maker is an interesting signing , bit of a floor stretcher if I remember correctly

If he clears waivers i want them to get tucker on the roster at the expense of mooney or randolf.
Hes better defensively than both esp mooney.
But given the roster crunch I'm guessing they were never going to be smart enough to see tucker worth the money.

After being moved to det from phi zhaire smith is waived.
I guess he never recovered from his allergies or something? Seemed like a high ceiling beast in college maybe someone picks him up. If healthy might be worth a look for cheap.

The Pistons are desperate for talent. The fact that they cut him isn't a good sign.
