I think that ones real ... and has interesting implications for the deadline if his NBA contract is going to be bought out or simply torn up. Minimally it opens up a roster spot for Goodwin or a buy out candidate, but it should also be a lot more tradeable since it won't cost the receiving team a roster spot, salary, or perhaps even a cap hit (not positive on that).

Yeah, it was a given that he would be released if no other moves are made and I doubt any other teams in the NBA want him, but the fact that he already has his offer means there's some amount of cap savings for someone-- whether that's the Cavs in the buyout market or in some transaction with, say, the Celtics.

T-minus 20 days until Dante Exum’s return to Cleveland!

Yes, handy that Ball was named to replace Durant, so Allen could replace Harden on team LeBron. If LaVine can't go, the next replacement will go to team Durant. Might just be a method to the madness? Or was Silver strictly going by votes?

I'm assuming Clevelanders will be able to afford and procure tickets to the actual game, otherwise this All-Star Cav and former Cav teamup won't matter much.

There's some pent-up resentment towards LeBron, but I doubt we'll see or hear much or any of it especially with his team stacked with Cavs and James joining the greatest players in NBA history. There are some players on the list who played for the Cavs, but LeBron is the only player on the list who played the majority of his career as a Cavalier.

He made up for leaving the first time. Him leaving the second time, the window was closed the minute Kyrie did Kyrie, so, I let it go so I can enjoy the end of a great career; the likes of which, god willing, I’ll live long enough to see.

I like the 2 way contracts, but I wish they would allow teams to poach 2 way guys from other squads. Do it like the NFL, where you can raid a practice squad, but if his original team wants to keep him, they have to add him to the regular roster. I actually think they should let you have up to 4-5 players signed that way.

$85/$135 is a lot(checked the menu) but I'm listening...

What is a seafood tower even? Never had one.

Crab legs, jumbo shrimp, mussels (or clams) and crab dip on three tiered platter 24”-30” high.

It’s not anything special, it’s just where my group meets before we head up to games and a shareable item.

The Cavs could also just use the spot on Goodwin ...

On one hand it makes sense to hold off using the last spot until we have to in case an injury or need becomes obvious, but on the other hand - if we want to bring someone new in, we'd want to give him time to acclimate.

Yep. The writing was on the wall that Pangos really didn't have a role even if we did see injuries and the break was a good time to part with him. Goodwin's definitely an upgrade over Pangos to the post-season roster if no other opportunities present themselves.

Looks like Garland will miss tonight's game because of his back ... also LeVert stepped on someone's foot and twisted his ankle and is going to be gone, perhaps a couple of weeks. :banghead:

Okoro won himself JBB's newly invented junkyard dog chain after the game against the Wizards for his defense on 6'9" red hot Kuzma, which reminded me that some people don't think he can defend bigger players because they can just shoot over him.

Not the case, this night, and part of it no doubt was the the refs were allowing the Cavs to get right up on the Wizards and play them super tight. As the Cavs and Isaac build their defensive reputation, hopefully we'll see this more often than just a home game .vs. a lower ranked team.

The more positions Isaac can defend even if it's just on a temporary basis on a switch or to slow a hot player, the more valuable he's going to be. Meanwhile he's 8 of 17 on his 3pters so far in February (47.1%).

Garland's back problem is now being described as a bone bruise, hopefully that's a good thing in terms of long-term prognosis.
