It means so much when Isaac contributes on both ends. Who knows if he ever becomes a floor space, but making the other team pay for neglecting him is very helpful.

Several things would have to lineup for the Pacers to make him available, and I suspect that they'd prefer to ship him out West.

Yeah, though I suspect a good part of Indy trying to find a home for LeVert is related to Warren.

He’s eligible for a contract starting at ~$35.7mil; they have $110mil committed not including their FRP or cap holds.

It’s going to have to be a good offer, and needs to be the right player because it locks the cap/picks.

Yeah, my primary concern about trading for Warren would be he looks shaky after coming off his injury and a team like Memphis/OKC still makes a stupid offer by convincing themselves that his one good season is the real Warren versus every other season he's had. Assuming you still wanted to match that offer, you might not even get the opportunity.

I can get behind that. Getting people to commit in Cleveland has always been a struggle.

In season, I don’t expect the Cavs to be very active. Something incremental, if anything.

Off-season I expect them to take a shot. With Love expiring, Cedi (could be with 2023 NG), Windler, a few NGs, a full slate of picks; and good room under the tax, I could see them being aggressive in the S&T market.

For anyone who thinks I'm crazy to suggest we have an opportunity to get out of the East this season ...

I can see this if we can get someone who can create offense out of nothing ala Sexton.

I still think it's crazy given how young our key players are. The Nets will resolve the Kyrie situation one way or another. The Bucks have three key pieces all with significant playoff experience and all of whom are physical specimens.

Teams are going to aggressive with us and Mobley ain't there yet physically. We still make unforced, young team mistakes. The MOE for that type of stuff in the playoffs isn't like the regular season

Kevin Porter Jr. is missing his triumphant return to Cleveland tonight with a quad injury.

Sure, but let's not over-rate the Nets or the Bucks too much either. There's just one championship between the two of them, and that was against a very inexperienced Phoenix team. We may not even have to go through both of them.

Injuries have been the major factor in determining our past 3 champions.

There's a window of opportunity, the trick is figuring out how to squeeze through it.

And we passed the first test by finishing the hardest schedule in the NBA with 14/12, and still winning until 18/12. The team IS playing very good and it's also being showed in the statistics (15th in offensive rating and 2nd in defensive rating after 30 games). These stats are the typical ones of teams which make It far in the playoffs. And I know Its still early, but it's almost half of the season.

Okoro's shooting numbers are now better than last year's.

If this is Omicron, and it likely is, half the team will test positive before the next game.

Even if we could, I don't think we would. I'm not positive, but his contract may put us into the tax.

Bucks lost against the pels. If we win them we will climb up to second in the east.

Yeah, it would put us into the tax, but we do have the 2nd richest owner in all of pro sports. I believe it's 60 days to aggregate a newly acquired player with other contracts so it's irrelevant. Was just looking for ways to make a bigger chunk of salaries to send out. We're currently 9.68m under our hard cap and 3.2 under the tax I believe.

1) His age fits the timeline
2) He shoots 36% from three
3) He can play both SG/SF
4) He can handle the basketball if/when something happens to Garland/Rubio
5) I understand there is bigger/better options, but this option is free.
