Though I like the idea of grabbing O’Neale and Harris for Love (and Windler) neither of these guys are true wings so we will remain really small. I do love the additional shooting firepower though and O’Neale is a solid not great defender.

I do hope we find a way to get an okay 4/5 for our bench in certain situations. I’ve been eyeing Naz Reid (always forget that he’s so young so prob not possible), Thad Young, Mo Bamba, Isaiah Stewart, and TJ Gibson.

I smiled when I saw this trade, thinking, the Cavs interest drove up the price for Hart.

And that we wouldn’t see an Allen, Mobley, Stevens, Hart, Okoro lineup…

My thought as well, the Knicks offer of a protected 1st or 4 2nd's does trump a 2nd or two we may have offered, but someone might still fall through the cracks and end up getting moved for our offer if nobody else cares to give up a 1st.

We might as well add in one of the Nets expirings they probably won't re-sign. We can get a first hand look at them and preserve our MLE for someone else that way.

btw, didn't O'Neale basically play PF in Utah? Far from ideal length/height/rebounding but would give us a lot of positional flexibility I imagine.

Any thoughts on Olynyk? He's not the volume shooter that Love is, but should pair well with Allen and Mobley.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I hope we're on the phone with Danny Green's agent.

He can shoot?

He's the wing equivalent of Kevin Love, except Danny's not pulling a big out of the paint or taking charges.

Pacers waived Goga. Worth kicking the tires on as a backup center.

Is Beilein consulting with Dan?

What do you like about Goga that we don't have in Diakite or Lopez?

I mean I don't think Diakite is currently a legitimate NBA player and the best thing about RoLo is his Twitter account. He's awfully cooked.

So Matt Moore is reporting that we're going to buy out Love, which just makes no sense to me.

Really? That would be silly unless he is going to be a problem for them. At least keeping the possibility of a S&T available would seem to make much more sense.

Doesn't make any sense to Altman either.

And Goga just got waived ... so why do you like their bottom of the barrel better than ours?

I feel like Moore just uncritically regurgitates whatever a person is telling him without inquiring into motive.

Disappointed the Cavs sat on their hands but sometimes the best trade is the one ya don't make.

Exactly. I'm fine with it so long as they don't extend LeVert.

2 years with a TO for the third at $50m…. It’ll be low enough risk for people like me to shrug and high enough to annoy you.
