The Finnisher is heating up! 27/7 and we win this game.

10 assists from Rubio. Garland developing. Both Allen and Mobley leaving the court after the game with bigger cojones than what they entered it with.

I like the quote- it makes me chuckle. And it was/is pretty much true.

No Bam. Allen and Mobley have to feast tonight.

We have just 1 win in our past 12 games .vs. Miami and I do believe we haven't won in Miami since 2010 ... unless Kevin runs them all out to the clubs before the game, maybe we can do something about that.

We miss Ce DIos, TweedleDean and Sextonto.
They miss Butler, Morris, Oladipo, Herro, Bam and Dedmon.

Feels weird to play against a team with more DNPs than ours.

Addendum: They eventually listed in Tyler and Dwane: Herro will start.
Now this feels more natural... otherwise it would be too weird.

I feel like the Cavs need to designate Lauri or Allen as someone who has offensive rebounding responsibilities. Getting back on D is important, but no way a team with three 7 footers should be getting so few second chance opportunities.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Great win. Our defense is legit.

Great game - again. Defense is the key, but it helps when Love comes hot off the bench (especially when Markkanen seemed to have an off-shooting night).

Getting back in transition is a pretty big deal ... our guards can't stop a break and we don't have an Andy or a Tristan on this squad - guys with such a nose for the ball, you have to green light them.

Nice to get that win in Miami and even catch a break missing Butler and Bam, and catching Robinson in a big shooting slump.

Ricky is pretty good to be facing off against other team's backup PG.

Who even was the backup behind Lowry? Was it supposed to be Gabe Vincent?

The Heat announcers were bemoaning that they only had 2 guys who could break down a defense (Herro and Lowry) and I'm like ,,, yeah what about it? We're beating you guys with our two guys: Garland and Rubio. You might try moving the ball ...

Anyway, it's a great luxury to have Ricky as our backup PG, I just wonder what he thinks about it? It's not like he's being cheated on minutes.

Originally I thought he would be used more in a mentor role and not asked to score so much, but with Sexton out he has been so much more. I have been enjoying watching basketball again for the first time in a long while. Rubio, whether he is playing against first or second team guys at either position has for the most part eliminated the stagnant offense that has plagued this team since Lebron left.
The team being competitive in almost every game, playing good defense and winning some games really helps. Also, the refs not calling nearly as many bs ticky tack fouls probably plays a part in that as well. But I think it says something that even with defenses being allowed to be more aggressive this team actually looks much better offensively, in large part to Rubio being here and Garland's continued growth.

He has said many time that he doesn't care about that. He just want to feel good, to feel that the team trust him and to have a precise role. I think he is getting everything here and that he is very comfortable. I've been following him since DKV joventut and it's very easy to see in his body language that he loves being un Cleveland. For him It would be awful to be traded.
