I swear this Cavs team gives me goosebumps. This team is special.

It's way early, but your defense looks pretty solid. Was curious why you guys are doing decently this year.

Okoro tired of the fake trades I'm making to get the Cavs a scoring SG and is turning into one.

If we keep locking games that early, Tacko might end the season with more minutes played than some NBA starters,

You know this Cavs team is good when Austin Carr says they have to get it together, leading by 20 after an Allen poster on Len.

The Cavs could've definitely used Sexton this game once the Kings started playing aggressive man defense to prevent Garland from creating on the offensive end. Sexton would've feasted on that and likely opened it back up for Garland.

I'm going to go back and watch the tape, but I have a real issue with Lauri fouling out of that game. I saw two, maybe three legit fouls and he gets no respect from the officials on the other end.

Cavs are 11-0 against the spread in their last 11 games.

The big lineup is working, Love is healthy, Garland figured out how to manipulate defenses, having an NBA quality backup PG is huge, Mobley is actually good as a rook.

With Rubio playing starters minutes we could use a viable 3rd PG or Combo. I guess we're committed to Pangos, but he's really at a deficit without plus height/strength/experience to contribute right away (if ever).

So you agree that Sexton would've helped. Like why do people have to argue that Sexton would help this team. This isn't a conversation of Sexton vs Garland, it's a matter of what Sexton brings to the table helps Garland even. The fact that the Cavs even have a back-up PG of Rubio's quality is already a bit of a rarity in the NBA. How many teams have a back-up of any position that could arguably be a starter on another team that they don't just find a way to stick into the starting line-up to begin with? This isn't even an issue talking about the B2B and short rotations, which is definitely a part of it, the Kings showed how to make the Cavs struggle. Pressure Garland the entire time and make him give it up so others have to create shots. Sure teams won't be able to completely stop the Cavs, but it's going to be a lot easier when there isn't someone that can create a shot off the dribble.

Sure, quality depth is important but jbk's point that we may not have had that lead in the first place if we were still starting Sexton is fair to consider too.

But hey, maybe Okoro and Rubio are better rested and dominate the Kings second unit ...
