Wasn't all that pretty, but Love had the hot hand, which was pretty much the key. Good to have Rondo back in the lineup also.

I just wonder what Thibs was thinking ... coming out of half time things we're getting out of hand and I figured we were one Knicks score from JBB having to blow a timeout, but then we managed to score our first points of the second half and Thibs takes one. The Cavs shortly later scored again and he used another. Both coaches seemed hesitant to use their challenges (preferred to just complain), understandable for Thibs, but I think JBB left 2 timeouts unused.
That being said, the Knicks did a great job mucking things up for Garland and Garland didn't have his 3pter to make them pay for it. If somehow we could replay that game with Allen, I'd love to see what difference he made. Having just Mobley is supposed to improve our spacing but not so much when we pair him with Davis. I suspect Allen creates his own form of gravity that gives Garland more room to work inside the arc.
Even without Derrick Rose, the Knicks did most of their damage with their bench. I wonder if Thibs has even noticed how much his starting lineups have struggled for the past 2 seasons, or if he'll ever do anything about it beyond cutting their minutes down like he did in this game.
