Thank you Ricky Rubio!

Hah, I wasn't even thinking of him as gone ... just on Cavalier's hiatus.

Ricky saying he only has 2 or 3 years left, so may not even reach the end of his contract.

Any updates on Ricky's rehab? I am a big fan of Rubio.

Thanks! Rotowire shows him progressing to light three on three workouts last Thursday, but there is no update on how that went or if it is continuing.

Rubio (knee) took the floor for some light 3-on-3 work for the first time this season Thursday, Kelsey Russo of The Athletic reports.

He does say he wants to get a title with CLE before he hangs it up, so maybe the Cavs can fulfill that wish.ijspeelman wrote:This thread resurfacing scared me that Rubio retired mid-season lmao

That window is wide open for the next 2-3 years and I like our start in that window. You would assume we would only get better from this season (but crazier things have happened).

If he only plays this season and next or even fulfills his whole contract, i think it'll be tough to achieve but it depends how the roster shapes up within that span.ijspeelman wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:He does say he wants to get a title with CLE before he hangs it up, so maybe the Cavs can fulfill that wish.ijspeelman wrote:This thread resurfacing scared me that Rubio retired mid-season lmao

It'll also come down to luck, if Celtics lose Tatum to inury and Bucks lose Giannis to injury, East probably wide open (I do not wish those injuries on them).
