So we call ourselves The Nòmades?

Well... time to put that name to test.

Small sample.

I don't think PG is his best position nonetheless.
Surely Garlandas is a hell of a miss but let's give some credit to Indianos:

They pretty much went from Twin Towers Systems to a 7 Seconds Or Less Offense in but three days.
Bickerstaff didn't see that coming.

At the end, RRondo took the handle, made the calls and feed Cari who was bright at the clutch.

Meanwhile, Indianos decided to merrily gamble the ball all around, let the 24s finish without shooting and going mostly brainless with Haliburton running the team like younglings are supposed to run it: Disgracefully.

CLECaus dodged a bullet.

No Garlandas No Party but at least another ugly Win.
They came back from a terrible start and that shows determination.

That was an amazing first quarter by the Pacers, but sometimes teams are energized by deadline deals, and this buzz faded fast when the Cavs started clamping down on D.

We could say the same about LeVert except he wasn't doing anything unsustainable. He was as advertised... not very efficient, ball hogged, but got in the paint and scored.

But they were points we needed to win, and while he didn't look good on D at times, he contributed a major defensive stop.

Levert is going to become the new Collin Sexton on this team isnt he.

I just want to take this moment and say 'I told you so' about his defense to everybody out there. Defense is 75% effort related. He can be a great perimeter defender if he is just motivated by being on a good team who prides themselves on that end.

I'm still hopeful that this isn't how it's normally going to go. Garland was out. It was LeVert's first time playing his former teams. Duarte was obviously talking mess and the two of them decided it was mano o mano time.

But yeah, there was a lot of hero ball in the last four minutes, they weren't particularly good shots, the overall flow of the offense suffered, and LeVert's defense seems like a work in progress, which for a 27-year old is less than ideal. There's not a lot of drive and kick back out to LeVert's game which is both very Sexton-like and could become a problem. Bickerstaff is going to have stay in front of that and not allow it to become a serious issue as it did under Beilein. If Love isn't a credible threat to shoot when he's out there, it's very difficult for him to have positive value on the court. He doesn't have to shoot it ton, but he needs touches in order to keep the opposing defense honest.

Anyway, LeVert is demonstrating why it was never as simple as just adding Sexton's missing points to the scoreboard. Both guys bring pluses and minuses.

So long as players still learn from them, because against a better team, that would've been an ugly loss.

Levert is a chucker who will get his everytime, I do t know why the Cavs traded for this guy what he did yesterday was a small sample size and not sustainable as evident of his previous tenures. He's a streaky low IQ, high volume chucker, you will get games like yesterday where he's in absolutely on fire then you have games where he just Chuck's shots for the hell of it. I really think his acquisition was detrimental to Mobley's development, Levert will get his shots and will never pass unless he's forced to. I understand Cleveland wants to win now, but at what cost?

What you see is what you get from Levert, he's talented but he's not Kobe and the ball movement will stop when he gets his hand on it, just watch. Mobley's stats will suffer because of this guy.

There's some important differences ... a combo guard typically features the ability to run a 2 man game and that's an obvious check for Caris and Allen, he has plus height for the role, and he can go slow and find his shots which is a better fit for us since we often struggle to space the floor.

Its just amazing to watch somebody other than DG beat their man off the dribble to get a open shot for themselves.

I have PTSD from watching Okoro/Stevens for the past 1.5 years.

Yep, the solo scoring is there, he's good to go with lobs to Allen, learning the rest of his teammates, the plays, and the defense will all take time but I think he can contribute right away. I'll surely be watching his +/-'s though.

Man Mobley looked exhausted last night. Really couldn’t hit much and didn’t have the energy for rebounding. Need the all star break fast for him.

Levert fits extremely well on this team. Cavs were 11 points better with both Garland and Levert on the floor together against the spurs.

Levert stated that the Cavs organization told him to go out there and get buckets when we need it the most and he’s delivering so far. His defense on Duarte was amazing

Yeah you can go back to your board

I said Theo Ratliff with offense, have you seen Theo Ratliff play defense? That's Mobley with more offense, prove me wrong. I also compare with with young OKC Ibaka, that's Evan Mobley on this Cavs team.

Before the Cavs traded for LeVert, Mobley had games where he'd disappear on offense. He's light years ahead of where I thought he'd be, but he's still a 20-year old rookie who's showing signs of hitting the rookie wall. His ceiling is way above where you're projecting though

If LeVert becomes a problem, the Cavs will address it. He didn't shoot that much when Garland was playing. I'm not even sure he'll start when Lauri and Garland are healthy. But the Cavs separately needed someone who could create once Rubio got hurt and LeVert was available.
