The opponent:
Lady Hawk team just made a 'click' for awhile after some hesitant Late Pre Season. One-Man-Army Young Bald is now better supported by Gallo and Bogda production. If Capela anchors the paint, Huerter nails some shots and their physical role players (Hunter, Wright, Onkongwe -kinda... I never spell his name right-) do the job, they don't even need Sweet Lue dressed as star to compete with every team at this League.
They displayed some interesting zone defense & at times even put Trae off the ball to let Bogdan's IQ run the show with a more collective ball movement.
Our guys:
This game, the Lauriless adjustment ordered by J.B. was accepting the switch on Trae.
TweedleDean wish he had decided otherwise. Young just chewed him.
But Kokoro can't be happy with his one to one against him either.
They tried a few possesions defending zone. Didn't work.
Allen and Capela neutralized each other. Moble more on the loose yet irregular.
Cari is a legit offensive weapon but he still looks unconnected from team game. RRondo returned to his grey version.
Ce Dios lacked mojo.
Amor performed a brilliant 1st half and an obscure 2nd.
Garlandas was great but he can't do it all.
I miss La Mar.
Since Cari took his minutes out we might be scoring more but we lost toughness and defensive impact.
I'm resigned we need to give LeVert minutes enough to run his adaptation. Growing pains I guess.
But still I miss La Mar.

The Caris fit has been everything I expected it to be through the first few games.

Really sucks that the Trae Young got an exemption from the NBA in terms of this year's point of emphasis. I wonder if it's in writing or it's a wink and nod kind of thing.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I noticed LeVert making some very obvious defensive mistakes that hopefully get cleaned up once he understands how much help we bring to protect the rim and how he's going to have to defend 1v2 at times on the weak side.
