JBB is testing my patience with this negative spacing starting lineup.

Let's go Cavs!
I'm actually gonna get to watch the first part of the game.

Love and Lopez are a great big man pairing off the bench.

Glad he swapped Okoro for Cedi so quickly. I know Cedi is hitting way over his % right now, but it’s what caused the offense to open up.

Idk why JB started his defensive plan by leaving KP open. I understand we want Mobley and Allen sinking to the basket, but we can’t leave a three point shooter wide open.

Now this is a no space lineup.
Neto LeVert Okoro Mobley RLo

JBB is just really bad at balancing shooters and non-shooters in his rotations, and at least so far, the bench is saving him from himself. He had all of Wade, Love, Mitchell, and Cedi out there at one point.

LeVert has been shooting lights out and its really helping this starting line-up space the floor. This will obviously not stick (shooting 55% so far through 3 games), but I hope he can carry the form until Garland gets back.

Just checking the boxscore and I see Okoro has has his usual similar stat line. 0 points, 0 assists, and 1 rebound in 12 minutes.
First game of the season vs the Raptors he had 0 points, 0 rebounds, and 0 assists in 12 minutes.
Yesterday he had 1 rebound, 0 assists, and 2 points in 27 minutes played vs the Bulls.
Is he at least playing good defense? I’d hate to think he’s just running around on the court being totally worthless.

Imo he hasn't been himself on the defensive end either. Wouldn't say he's been a liability though

We had him on DeRozan and then Beal. But having Okoro and LeVert on the court at the same time really doesn't work offensively. It hurts every player on the court

I definitely thought we were losing that one. Everyone looked so tired at the end of the 4th.

I only got to watch the 1st half but looked at the game cast a bit towards the end of the game.
Nice to get a win on both nights of a back to back.

Small sample size but LeVert hasn't exactly hurt us from the 3 point line thus far

He's going to need to do more of that when Garland comes back. I'm skeptical he can transition to a three and D guy, but it would be great if he could fill that role.

He's looked great from 3 and good from D. The 3 will falter since its at an unsustainable level, but if he can shoot 37% or higher that is a huge win. Hope the defense sticks as well. He's looked pretty competent out there.
He's been showcasing his playmaking as well and been a pretty good connective tissue.
