Unlikely, he wasn't wearing them in practice. Lower/no risk, sure, but you'd think if he planned to wear them, he'd be trying to get used to them.

Gorgeous off-ball movement by Garland and Mitchell so far. If this sticks, this offense is gonna be incredibly hard to stop with Allen and Mobley cutting into the paint

Allen has really struggled finishing around the rim this season (31.8% between from 3-10 versus 46.9% last year. Not gonna comment on <3ft because those are mostly assisted and Garland has been out). To be fair to him today, I think he's getting fouled and it isn't being called.

Oof, he got cocky and got blocked on his second attempt

Mobley being in foul trouble is really hurting our defensive gameplan. We are really struggling with defending the paint off of penetration

They don't have the sound on here so hard for me to keep track. Hopefully Mitchell didn't tweak his ankle too bad.

Smart picking on our small backcourt here.

That was an incredibly smart cut from him as Mitchell had to tag him and the corner shooter

Magic fan here but NBA Fan as well.

I've expressed I love the Mitchell pickup, sitting here watching the Cavs Celts rematch and I gotta say...

I like the idea of a Mitchell Garland backcourt however after seeing it in reality with Garland back from injury and I don't like his command of the ball over Mitchell as he is young and you can see his decision making rushing that missed 3 down the stretch was not a good shot.

Luckily Mitchell regained the team composure after the rebound and they were smart enough to get it to him.

This may be something to look for as you need wise decisions come PO time against a team like BOS and Garland ain't there yet.

I was really liking what they were doing with the ball movement in the 1st quarter. It looked gorgeous, but I think Celts have been preswitching us to death and our plays are not looking as good. I definitely am not going to make a judgement based on 25ish minutes of play together.
