A little disappointed there is no Sexton tonight for the Utah Cavaliers.

Mobley has been missing everything even against smaller players. Its been a rough couple of games for him.

The game started with three straight Mobley possessions. Where he missed two hooks over Beasley (his initial assignment), and had a great pass to a cutting Okoro.

With Allen out, Mobley slides to true center and honestly he hasn't been bad, but then we have no help guy (I'd say Stevens is the best option right now).

I understand we can't play Mobley every minute, but throwing out a Neto Mitchell Okoro Cedi Love lineup is scary bad for defense. Love has no rim presence and there is no one to actually help with the roller. One of the only times I'd vye for Lopez.

+Love is supplying almost no offense so either get Diakite out there and switch everything or play Lopez who at least has some kind of rim presence.

I don't know how anyone watches Donovan Mitchell and thinks the Cavs overpaid. Dude is legit.

Mobley turned into prime KG on defense there for a bit, but not enough to win it.

Did not enjoy the flagrant three point foul into the subsequent three point foul. Was nasty.

Unreal the refs really just handed this win to the Jazz, sickening sometimes to watch pro sports and see crap like this. How can they just let a guy jump into people and hand him free throw after free throw in critical situations. The cavs clearly outplayed them and it was just stolen away embarrassing and demoralizing to watch as a fan.

During the flagrant foul, Clarkson jumps forward about 2-3 feet in front of the line and falls backwards to draw the foul. It should have been an and1 at worst.

Then the next possession, he jumps backwards 2 feet to run into Levert AGAIN, and gets the 3 free throws. Unreal they gave Jordan **** Clarkson the Harden treatment to swing the game by about 8 points.

So, Dieng is a free agent? I do miss last year’s size on nights like tonight.

We just had a game last week against the Bulls practically handed to us on a silver platter due to poor officiating.

I understand that this is a frustrating loss, but as with the bulls game, we have to be fair and recognize that this is not a game that can be boiled down to a few really bad calls.

With that said, I think the flagrant and the turnover were both very bad calls. I don’t feel the same way about the second foul though. I think that was a legit foul, and a pretty stupid one on LeVerts part. Like, what was he trying to do? He doesn’t have his hands out or anything, he just blindly charges into Clarkson who Mobley is already defending on the pick. That’s on him.

We can’t blame the refs for all of our mistakes. We’re better than this.

Yeah, I was all set to go after LeVert for poor defense and then I watched the replay. I can't think of a more *flagrant* example of suspect officiating. I don't mean bad officiating. I mean suspect, like the NBA should look into it. Levert actually pulled his foot back and Clarkson kicked his foot out on the first call. Someone went to the monitor, watched the same play as the rest of us, and decided that was a flagrant foul.

Against the Bulls, the first non call so far as lane violations go was against the Bulls big men. They had their feet in the lane before the ball left Mitchell's hands. Which raised an interesting question as fast as a team intentionally doing that when a player intentionally misses.

Even the second one was suspect... players are allowed to stop and shoot so you cannot run into him, but he leaned back into LeVert and drew the foul.

I really don't want to harp on these too much, but it was three missed calls in a row (maybe four if you count the play where LeVert actually fouled Clarkson on a three, but it went uncalled before all of this lol). Out of bounds off Cavs (no Cav was nearby) and two three point shot fouls). Huge swing to end the game.

I do think we got some soft calls in the 3rd which helped us get back so I really don't want to fully blame officiating, but it was a deflating way to lose the game.

Well, like I reminded some Bulls' fans ... if you want to win, you can't let the game be decided by a couple of favorable call for the home team.

It's almost criminal that we play Mobley at C and can't manage to put 4 shooters around him.

This site is great and all but I literally can't say what I really think about Caris Levert due to the profanity filters. RCF is a place to shoot the **** and has a ton of LOL moments. Check out threads about Dylan Windler, straight comedic gold.
