No Curry, Klay, or Green on the Warriors side. Would be a sad loss if we do lose.

I was actually pretty excited to play the healthy Warriors bc they are good test, but oh well.

Glad Mitchell is getting more rest.

A few really bad defensive possessions switching on the perimeter (some miscommunication on one between Cedi and Okoro which I mainly blame Cedi because his switch makes no sense based on what the rest of the team does). Still the Warriors are shooting way above their weight from three (7/8) in the first quarter.

Its another game where I don't think we should be down at half. The amount of contested threes (and even open ones) that the Warriors are making is stupid. I'll admit I haven't watched much of Ty Jerome, but he's made 3 or 4 contest floaters.

I think if continue how we are playing we should be able to still win this one comfortably. They seemed to solve the perimeter switching problem going into the 2nd.

Cavs need to think about bringing in another big man. If not at the deadline, the buyout market. I'm not sure Love is playable in the post season.

The defense is much worse with him in. He's targetable and he's not a good help guy. Its basically impossible to hide him.

He may get minutes in the postseason, but he may be played off the floor by certain opponents.

Immediately two three point makes by the Warriors. One off the dribble by Ty Jerome at the buzzer and a pull-up off a PNR for Poole where Allen dropped too low.

This is one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen.

To me the biggest thing is the offensive rebounds. We are barely into the third and the Warriors have 10.

Well we... fought back. So we could still win.

This is easily the worst loss of the season. There is no reason as to why we should have lost this game. Our playoff seeding continues to weaken.

Look, I can blame Warriors shooting way above their weight and I can blame Warriors making shots that they normally wouldn’t make, but this is just a game we have to win.

Most frustrating loss this season.

When we play teams who have an embarrassment of riches when it comes to shooters, it's really striking.

I'm not part of the fire JBB now club, mostly because with Wade out our roster is flawed, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't growing concerned about certain trends.

Garland didn't have his legs the last 3 minutes, as he played almost the entire game, and without Mitchell, that made it impossible to close out.

Also, our spacing on these final attempts is jacked. Some of that is Garland trying to be a hero, but some of it is our spacing sucking because we don't really have guys in default positions to ensure the opposing team pays a price for throwing three defenders at Garland when he drives.

I've been down on Stevens, but he should've gotten some of Love and Mobley's minutes given how many long offensive rebounds the Warriors were getting off of missed threes. Also, the over helping in the paint needs to get addressed. We're giving up too many open corner threes. If you have Allen and Mobley on the floor available to protect the rim, that shouldn't be happening.

Pretty sad to lose to a team missing their 4 best players.

I don't think JB needs to be fired this season. Cavs will be lucky to get the 5 or 6 seed. If they fall down into the play-in, they're better off to tank out again like last season to retain their first round pick.

But long term, JB needs to go, if the Cavs wanna get where trading 6 first round picks says they want to go. Need better rotations, better offensive schemes, and some sort of defense that doesn't just make every single team superstars from 3.

With that said, Altman still needs to get 2 actual SFs on the roster, as well as a viable back-up big, regardless of who the HC is.

This game was a wake up call ... let's see who wakes-up . ..

JBB needs look himself in the mirror and do two things, the first is to stop pushing players to the point of exhaustion for a regular season win; and the second is to fix the 3pt defense.

As pointed out the defensive problem may be simply that we're over-helping, but its also related to the first because Garland doing so much on offense is often put in position as the guy who has to help and contest a shot at the rim or in the corner.

And one other thing, does Memphis just draft guys with a lot of muscles or is that their training staff? Because that team just seemed stronger top to bottom - even skinny Ja is ripped. If JBB wants his guys to play physical, it might help if the trainers were giving our guys that edge?

A lot of that can be genetic and/or PEDs (the Magic team where like 3 guys popped in a short time frame come to mind).

Klay's no longer one of their 4 best players.

I say potato, you say potatoe.

It's irrelevant to the overall point, Klay still puts up 20 PPG and has a 54 point game and 41 point game under his belt this season, point being, the guy gets buckets.

Cavs lost at home to a team missing 4 starters, end of story... Sad.

Worst loss of the season.
