Wade should be starting.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

In general, I agree, but maybe they are easing him back in

Mitchell and Rubio look rusty, but I cannot abide bad, forced shots early in the possession. They both know better.
I have no idea how Love and Wade play that many minutes with neither of them getting a single shot. Just dumb, dumb basketball. The idea that Mitchell can run the offense relies primarily upon him hitting his shots, because when he's not, his decision making looks very different.
Also, since when is every Knicks player officiated like they're prime James Harden? I know the game's being played in MSG, but come on.

Another game of bad execution down the stretch and getting down big early. It is a recurring theme this year and it has to go on the coach. Since that hot start to the year we are barely over 500. Just seems like the mentality of the team. So much time barking at the refs when the team continues to cough up huge deficits that they have to overcome.

As I said, Mitchell running the offense looks very different when his shots aren't falling. Tonight's loss was a combination of bad decision making on the part of Mitchell, Mobley, and Rubio, questionable rotations, and Randle getting super hot from 3.
Edit: I absolutely hate ref baiting, but the Cavs have a decision to make on that front. After watching IQ and Brunson get rewarded for leaning into the defender and flailing around, at least Garland got in on the action.

In another weird thing for JBB he rested Garland and Mitchell at the same time, but if it was because Mitchell was on a minutes restriction - it didn't work out very well because he ended up playing 38 minutes.
It's like he's experimenting with some ideas, but he doesn't trust it and won't commit to it.
Meanwhile the Knicks second unit won them the game.
