Cavs made a huge mistake letting Love go. Dean Wade has been terrible. Can’t shoot and just getting blown by.

This team has absolutely no depth.

Can Danny Green not play? He can’t be worse than Wade/Cedi

I’m still hoping he can bounce back before the playoffs. We really need him knocking some out there if we are going to move. We lack so much spacing and losing his shot will not be good

I’m still alright with Love being let go honestly. He’s shooting just as bad as Wade in this stretch and worse on defense

Dylan Windler exists. That’s how much we are winning by

Love hasn't been good for the heat so that's a horrendous take. Did you not see the heat games? He was a total non factor. The cavs were fine to let Mitchell guard him on switches and he did nothing. The cavs have been streaking without him. Wade has been bad. So? Stevens has been better at loves role and the cavs are playing better since he left.....horrible horrible take

I was never against benching love. He was terrible on defense and will be totally unplayable in a year or two. I am more mad the cavs didn't go after Cody zeller or someone with some size if anything.

If you haven't noticed, Love has been horrible in Miami...
Well at least we're not Detroit!

This is a great cavs win great great tremendous win. It is so hard for a team to win back the backs against a team much less at away down two all stars. Don't care that it's hornets to just eviscerate them like that was impressive.

Yeah, and Garland and Mobley didn't need to play their full minute load. Gives the team a realistic shot against Philly tomorrow, especially with Mitchell and Allen possibly returning with fresh legs.

Dean Wade has been significantly worse than Love has been. He's quite literally unplayable. I mean, if Love gives you nothing else he's got championship pedigree. Neither guy gives you anything in a playoff rotation anyways.

Wade post Love - 4/30 from the field, 2-16 from 3. Gives you absolutely nothing else, can't rebound, isn't a plus defender. I mean yea, Love is a terrible defender and hasn't been shooting great but better than 4-30 and he can at least rebound the ball.

Wade played 20 minutes today and provided almost nothing. A single block is all he could muster in that entire time. Add in non-existent defense.

Unplayable

ok so talking to a brick wall here...nobody is defending wade, wade has been horrible obviously, that means nothing in the context of Love also being bad and also unplayable with his horrible defense and inability to make a shot. The cavs made the right move dean wade or no dean wade. Championship pedigree doesnt get stops or make shots stop with this nonsense he is making less 3 pointers with miami. Stevens has been shooting better than love at this point and Stevens is a bad shooter. The cavs have played better since letting love go, Miami has been the same or worse you are not making any logical points.

We are trying to catch up to one of Philly or Boston to not face you guys, but its fruitless at this point. Would need one of them to lose at least 5 of their remaining games and that would mean we would have to win out.

Let's get out of the first round before worrying about our second round matchup...

We're fortunate the Hornets started their vacation plans early this season because they all but handed us that game with their turnovers, It was certainly nice to see Cedi and Caris stepping up with Donovan out and JBB even had a chance to dust off the deep bench.

To be fair, Boston isn't playing too well lately. They've got only one pushover game left (SAS) and more road games than home games. Predicting them to go 6-7 or 7-6 over their remaining schedule isn't crazy given they're 5-5 in their last 10. (Unlikely, but not crazy.)

Philly has 15 games left; only five are at home; the last 10 are all against play-in or playoff teams; and they've got a west coast trip. If we can take care of business tonight, then we might still be able to catch them.

But either scenario requires us to go on a heater and one of them to slump. Philly is possibly one injury away from that scenario.

Honestly, I see nothing to nitpick with the 538 project which has us winning 51 games (very reasonable unless we get pummeled by more injuries), but the Celtics and 76ers can easily reach their projections which would keep them 3+ games ahead of us.

Stranger things have happened, but usually not in our favor... :banghead:

I'd rather face the Knicks or Nets in round 1...
