Mobley is matched up w Cade on defense in the half-court. Will be fun to watch

I don't like the direction of this game. Bickerstaff for some reason is electing to go small and Pistons are taking full advantage of it.

I think this is him trying to manage playing a lot of different players. The only big who hasn't played is Damian which I am neither here nor there on giving him minutes.
Def not calling this game being close "shooting luck", but the Piston have shot 54% from downtown and there have been some crazy makes whereas we've had countless wide open misses. We can still do better on defense bc we've also allowed too many drives into the paint and a little too much help on the weakside which has allowed some escape passes for some lightly contest threes.

I also want to comment that there's been visible rust on Mobley (specifically on offense) and Garland (mostly on defense). Its expected, but hasn't been helpful.

I actually liked a lot of what I saw especially with all the line-up fluctuation. Though, I know a lot of that has to do with Garland and Mobley's minute restrictions.
I'm also glad Strus' rough stretch has occurred during this winning period. Hopefully he can swing the other way when we need him. I t sucks bc it doesn't feel like he's rushing shots or taking crazy ones. There is just a lid on the hoop

I don't really want to see Mobley forcing anything on offense this season. I also don't want to see him out at the three point line. We can see about making him a focal point next year, but that's too long a journey to get accomplished in 30 or so games that remain.

Was that a 10 man rotation last night?

Lol thanks to the medical staff. Mobley and Garland are both on a 20 to 24 MPG restriction. Once off restriction, they're going to eat another combined 25 minutes in the rotation.

Looks like they're going to take a minute to figure out what to do with Garland and Mobley, but at least they got the win.
