Getting Mobley going early. Loving his aggressiveness against Wemby and had a gorgeous shovel pass to Allen

I like Julian Champagnie a lot. Feels like he'd be a good fit on these Cavs lol

Two things.

1. I hate that all season Mitchell has had to stand-up for himself, he's our star player and one of the smallest guys on our team. I'm not saying he can't take care of himself, we just need a Dahntay Jones type on this roster. Imagine if Mitchell gets thrown out of a playoff game for retaliating.

2. Why the hell were our starters in, in that situation? Mitchell and Strus should be on the bench in that scenario.

All shenanigans aside, looks like Mobley and Allen dominated.

Kudos to Garland for only taking 3 shots, when he sees his teammates were feasting. I hope once he's 100% he can find a way to fit in again.

Niang 0-8 from deep, oof.

Also, i was listening to Windy on a pod this afternoon, he pointed something out i never woulda noticed but was true again tonight.

Look how Mobley and Garland are negative +/- and Mitchell and Allen are huge positive +/-. I know those 2 being on a minutes restriction plays some part but just something he pointed out, why it caught my attention tn.

I wish Niang was in the game when that happened.

It's mostly Wemby. He pretty much played the same minutes Evan did, same with Garland. Wemby is the only real offensive and defensive threat SAS has. Evan definitely held his own in that matchup, but it also corresponded with Niang's awful shooting minutes.

When Wemby was out the entire rim area opened up and the Cavs opened up their lead.

Well, like I say all the time look for the flashes which usually come against players/ teams at or below the players level. In Mobley's case he also needs to feel he's making the right play or at least that the risk is acceptable. He's a long way from having a game like Niang where he kept launching inspite of nothing going in except the Pops' freebies.

Wemby will get his revenge, but for now both Allen and Mobley have things to teach him.

Garland needs some more time before we start jumping to conclusions. He lost weight when his jaw was wired, and unless he'd been doing something wrong it was mostly muscle.
