Niang is just killing us.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

8 players with double digit points tonight. Mobley is looking more confident, especially against smaller defenders. Fun watch.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Some people on this board need to start rethinking their take on guys like Okoro, Wade, LeVert, etc.

Okoro and Wade are right on the cusp of being legitimate 3 and D wings. For Okoro in particular, it really just looks like a confidence thing. He started showing us that Euro step earlier this season, now he's showing that he can hit more than just spot up 3s.

Maybe my memory is failing me, but aren't they better than anything we've had in the past 20 years or more?

Richard Jefferson helped us a lot, but I don't remember him making an impact game in and game out like this.

JR Smith comes to mind for me.

I actually went back and looked at JR Smith's stats the other day and during his first two years with us he was a crazy good role player

~40% 3P% on ~11.5 attempts per 100. ~102 TS+.

Surprisingly, Wade's numbers look similar this year. ~40% on 9.0 attempts per 100. 102 TS+. JR Smith had much more he could be doing offensively off the catch, but I don't think he was ever nearly as versatile as Wade is on D.

Adding in Okoro's number just for consistency lol. ~38% on ~5 attempts per 100. 102 TS+

JR is fair, but case in point the times he actually provided superior defense and shooting were pretty narrow.

Same with Delonte who I didn't mention because he's more guard than wing.
