No Wade tonight, so that stinks. Tyson and LeVert are both questionable, being able to get 1 back would be helpful to the 2nd unit.

On the other side, Pelicans are pretty beat up. Missing their starting backcourt in CJ and Murray. Also missing their 2 stud defensive wings in Herb Jones and Murphy. Zion has missed the last 2 games with a thig injury and is questionable tonight and some guy named Hawkins that I've never heard of is also questionable.

I don't want to get my hopes up with all their injuries because the Bucks were down Giannis and Middleton and still jumped on us early.

Looks like Pels have Jose Alvarado and Jordan Hawkins listed as questionable as well

TJ, CPJ, and Okoro together are all playing passing lanes and picking pockets.

Man, can't have our bigs in foul trouble. We have a real size advantage against these guys.

40 point 3rd quarter, I'll take it.

PS Kenny has won both challenges tonight, crew has been pretty awful tonight.

I missed watching this game live bc I was invited to a bar in Boston to watch Celts Warriors (great game btw).

Holy crap this was a badly reffed game. Try not to complain about this too often, but watching the fouls Zion got compared to what the other Cavs got was crazy. Kenny could have challenged like 15 times and had it overturned. I could read Mitchell's lips in the last 2 minutes when he drew a foul on Zion for the and one and said "same thing all f'ing night".

Even with that, thought the first half was putrid by the Cavs (on offense) and glad we were able to rein it in. Pels were making some crazy tough shots on offense, but we were struggling to get good shots besides threes.

But we went 9-0 which is best in franchise history.

Who knows, last season he went on paternity leave and then missed several months of basketball for some random injury.

This was allegedly an illness and he's on about day 5 of being out. Hope he's back soon but ya never know with Wade, very injury prone.

At least Caris returned, and was still hitting shots.

Hard to believe, but we beat the Pels with offensive efficiency / 3pt volume and with it we overcame the foul disparity, foul trouble, and 3 of their guys killing us. There's no way we would have beaten them last season unless Mitchell scored 50+.

Kenny is using our depth and pace as a weapon, and it's doing wonders like we all hoped.

We were super good on shooting efficiency, as a whole. Sloppy with turnovers in the 1st half.

The officiating was awful. Zion was being treated like prime LeBron with the favorable whistle. If i didn't know any better, i would think the Cavs were 0-9 instead of 9-0 with how bad the reffing as been the last couple games.

We were a better team given how many guys that the Pelicans had out, we just took our time showing it until we came out in the 2nd half like we had been starting games. The first half looked like JBB-ball. Lots of guys standing around without the ball.

Surprised the Pels didn't play Missi more, he looked like a legit big but only got 19 minutes. They might've played better if he got 10+ more.

Core four + Okoro is up to +22.6 per 100 possessions on a 30-minute sample size. Core four + Wade is only +0.4 in 67 minutes. Feeds the flames of my Okoro-as-starter agenda. (LeVert's +28.5 with the core four, although I think that's mostly from finishing halves/games with them?)

Yves Missi was so good. I always love when rookie centers have big impact.

Got iron out some of his offense though. He challenged Mobley multiple times which resulted how you think it would.

The dunk attempt on Allen resulted in Allen paying homage to Dikembe lol
