I won't be watching this one but maybe I'll see if i can find a radio station where i can listen to it.
Minus Ball on their side and Strus on our side, look like pretty clean injury reports, barring ant late scratches.

Glad there aren't any Allen injuries to report after he got a DNP in the 4th quarter on Saturday.

An article i read said it just wasn't his matchup so Kenny went to Wade and Mobley at the 5. Can you imagine that was jb? He woulda just stuck with Allen and we lose loltoooskies wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:I won't be watching this one but maybe I'll see if i can find a radio station where i can listen to it.

Have lots to say, but wanted to quickly point out that Atkinson has had a few no Garland Mitchell line-ups throughout the night.
And in the 3rd at around 5 minutes, he's gone no Garland, Mitchell, Mobley or Allen

And they take a 9 point deficit to a 3 point deficit in a minute and a half with Ty Jerome hustle and team defense

And they finish out the whole half and bring us up 3. This whole line-up sans LeVert with Mitchell are starting the 4th.

That was gritty. The Bulls arent great but they came to play they were making crazy shots to stay in it. We were flat a good amount of the 3rd. I think that's one of the best wins of the season.
Crazy we still don't have Strus. The rookie is an afterthought. Porter Jr.....our guard depth is crazy

Re: Game 12: Cavs @ Bulls 11/11/2024
Cavs continue to look like crap in long stretches and still win the games they are supposed to win. We REALLY struggled to get points in the paint in this one which is interesting against this Bulls team. Game opened up with Jerome in the 3rd when he was able to penetrate the defense and help generate easier looks. Mitchell basically did all his damage under heavy pressure.
Allen out by himself w some leg discomfort and didn't finish out the game. Looked fine on the bench, but it does seem something has been bothering him a bit bc he's just not had any touch on his shots and has looked a step slow against smaller players.
Garland's touch was also way off. He wasn't getting super easy looks, but on his jumpers that he was taking to get himself going they were missing by a country mile. He still was great in the clutch and hit some key shots and got some key picks in the passing lanes tonight.
Not trying to be too negative when we are now 12-0, but there are def issues to work out. The bench has not been one of those negatives and they obvi showed it when we went full bench for about 5 full minutes.

The Bulls packed the hell out of the paint. Watch the highlights they had a plan to let us shoot.

Re: Game 12: Cavs @ Bulls 11/11/2024
These are the games that the Cavs would lose under JB.
Even though they got down and looked dead in the water in the 3rd, the 2nd unit played great to get us back in the game and Mitchell closed.
This is the night and day difference from last year. We are winning the games we should win even when we're not playing well. The bench guys are empowered to move the ball and take shots rather than stand around and watch the guards dribble the air out of the ball every possession. 100% this was a coaching win, same as the Nets and Bucks games.
Cavs look really tired. Garland is front rimming a lot of shots recently, guys don't seem to have the same bounce they did for the first 6-7 games. Winning a lot of games in a row becomes very tiring.

The schedule has been tiring... this was yet another 4th game in 3 nights situation.
Kenny has done a great job keeping the minutes in check, but once the winning steak is over, I wonder if he'd consider giving guys some games off.
