Its a shame Tyson couldn't get some run last night.jbk1234 wrote:Tyson is a legitimate rotation player already. Travers less so. TT is washed. It's a bad sign for Thor that he's behind him on the depth chart.

Tyson looked really good. I'm a little worried about his footspeed on defense and his athleticism at the rim, but he made some really good reads throughout the game that I have no doubt that he'll be a contributor. I def don't think he should enter the regular line-up this year, but if injuries pop up I like him as one of the first options.
Travers was eh

There are currently too many bodies in front of Tyson, but I think the Cavs have a decision to make on LeVert no later than next summer with Mobley’s extension kicking in and the emergence of Ty Jerome. Merrill, Jerome, and LeVert are all on expiring contracts. Merrill and Jerome will get offers above what they're making now.
One approach would to let the season play out however it plays out, but they should probably force feed Thor some minutes so they know whether they have a viable backup big, or not, ahead of the deadline.

Jerome is going to be more expensive than the Early Bird rights we have for him next off-season.
