Okoro is a go because he's starting SF.ijspeelman wrote:

Great use of the Bi-Annual Exception.afarmenian wrote:Ty Jerome just makes no sense. It's like linsanity but no one cares outside Cleveland

Aw, are him and Mitch tight? I didn't know that wrinkle.gflem wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:Great use of the Bi-Annual Exception.afarmenian wrote:Ty Jerome just makes no sense. It's like linsanity but no one cares outside Cleveland
If anyone had any clue he could do this he would have gotten MLE from someone. Hopefully he can be close to this all season. Before the season he was an afterthought to me, I thought he was just signed as a friend of Donovan. So glad I was so wrong on that.

I thought we signed him as a Patrick McCaw 2.0 just to spite the Warriors lol
Now that you mention it, i do recall that picture. The kids they were up against stood no chance, 2 future NBA players were in their league loltoooskies wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:Aw, are him and Mitch tight? Mitchell and Jerome were on the same basketball team growing up. (See Mitchell's postgame presser from last night, apparently they won national titles together or something? Didn't know those existed for age 10.) When we signed Ty, Donovan posted a photo of them together from back then on his socials.

Jerome is also close to Altman.
Windy was on WKNR this morning talking about Jerome and unsurprisingly Jerome's people say he's not just on a hot streak, that this is the player he's always been and that his career has been derailed by injuries. They point to his 2nd season with OKC as being more representative of the player he was; but as impressive as that season was he's on a stupidly ridiculous level right now.
Fun times.
