Game 22: Wizards @ Cavs 12/3/2024

CPJ and Tyson are down with the Charge for the noon tipoff today.

TJ may be out tonight, so I assume CPJ will be called back up for this evening's game for the Cavs.

CPJ played 31 minutes and Tyson played 39 minutes.

Neither guy played well but they're young, if Wade and TJ can't go tonight each guy should have no issue filling the 9th and 10th spot minutes in the rotation.

A big man giving Garland a head injury... Feels a lot like last December. Hopefully he's ok.

They each saw about 6 minutes of garbage time.

Didn't realize Mitchell went out too.

Jonas was trying to take our starting back court out, guess he forgot it was basketball and not MMA.

Both guys seem to be good to go for the Nuggets game tonight.

Yeah, Mitchell went up to a screen and seemed to hurt a shoulder early in the 3rd. Looks like it was just a stinger-- much more common in football, where you just trigger a nerve the wrong way in your neck. In football you're constantly receiving blows so a recurrence can keep you out of the lineup, but that isn't a risk in basketball. Mitchell was back in the game pretty soon after the shoulder so it was probably minor to begin with.
