Cavs are without Okoro, CPJ, and obviously Strus.

Hornets are without Ball, Bridges, Grant Williams (season), Mann, Richards, some guy name Salaun and another guy named Diabate.

Did Mobley really have 5 threes in the 1st quarter?

I'm really impressed that Mobley is staring down a potential career high in points and its not clouded his decision making.

Keeps making the open extra pass over and over

6/8 from beyond the arc , career highs for both.

Thanks for sharing, looks like Mitchell was doing a good job feeding him.

Mitch and Garland were trying to feed him all night, but there were a few times we're Mob didn't go for the bucket and instead made the extra pass (which was almost always the right move).

If he wanted to, he could have shot more and potentially had a "bigger" game, but I appreciate him just playing winning basketball

it makes me uncomfortable thinking how good Mobley can be. He has everything required for superstardom the only question is if he has that mentality.

Something I've mentioned a coach can help with is playing to players strengths rather than exposing his weaknesses.

IMO, that's what Evan has been doing. His 3pt shot is still slow and methodical, but he's shooting it when left alone. His postups still struggle against bigger players so he uses it when he has a missmatch.

Those two things work in tandem. Charlotte went small when Mobley started nailing all those 3's, so he started working inside.

Superstar may never happen for Evan, but we don't need that from him. Kenny is solving the spacing problems and we're barely scratching the surface of what we can do.

If reasonably healthy ....
