4th Quarter LeBron

LeBron can make nice plays all game but he's been just a beast closing out games lately. He has clearly been trying to get his teammates involved in the first half of games but he's put up huge points in the 4th quarter all season and especially in the last few games.
He leads the league in most points scored in the 4th
LeBron James, CLE 9.4
Dwyane Wade, MIA 7.8
Joe Johnson, ATL 6.2
Deron Williams, UTA 6.1
Kobe Bryant, LAL 6.0

where do you find that stat? Is there a site that keeps it, or was that from an article?

It was with the game recap on ESPN.

What makes it that much more remarkable is that LeBron normally sits out the first 3 minutes of the 4th quarter.

Lebron Outscored the Raptors in that quarter. And its funny that he outscored what our leading scorer averages in a single quarter.

LBJ just owned the 4th quarter...I was suprised the Raps didn't show him different looks.

Normally teams like San Antonio sag off of him and dare him to make the jump shot but LeBron hit 2 3 ptr's in a row and then another 2. If he's making those there is nothing you can do with him. Someone even tried to take a charge and he stopped and banked the shot in.

Only 2, but he scored 19 and 24 in the 4th in the games surrounding it.

Yeah, but his presence was known in the court. When the Cavs were slipping away, James pulled them i.e. hitting a key jumper.... I really like LBJ...I admire his fire to win...

His passing ability makes it even harder to defend because he zips passes all over the court against double teams.
Lebron is basically a 1-man offensive system

actually, the funny part is that he went off because Chris Bosh's girlfriend and cousin were heckling him
he said the two of them ticked him off
ESPN showed the heckling highlights and he can be seen on the court telling the two of them that is was their fault as well as saying so in the post game interview after the interviewer says " i noticed you had a few hecklers out there"
the Cavs ought to employ those two.. or better yet.. get some hecklers for the rest of the team
on a sidenote has everyone seen the Chris Bosh all-star video on you tube?
Bosh goes redneck used car salesman and begs for your vote..
Skip Bayless was saying its not right to beg for your vote but i find it very entertaining and hope we can see more of the "other side" of some players
its not like anyone really tries in the NBA all star game anyway..
i'd vote for ira newble if he put out a great video begging for my vote

Check out LeBron's clutch numbers (last 5 minutes and overtime where neither team is winning by more than 5 points - which haven't been updated for yesterday's game yet)
http://www.82games.com/0708/07CLE10E.HTM
62.4 points per 48 minutes
2.7 blocks per 48 minutes
82.4% foul shooting
16.0 assist to bad pass ratio
we outscore the other team by 35.3 points per 48 minutes when he's on the court

Um yea. Not sure you guys are going to be talking about this much longer. Maybe LeBron lied and actually is staying in Cleveland. Um........... probably not.
