Nets have inquired about Gooden and Jones in the past...those two would have to be included in the trade. I don't know if they'd take on Hughes in any trade, though.

Larry for Vince straight up.

Larry for Vince straight. Saves NJ over 28 million dollars and we can throw in a 1st so NJ can save face.

Or combine it in a trade with Kidd that would include our 4.5mil in expiring contracts combine with a 2010 1st , DJ, and EITHER Drew or Boobie.

Nets positives end up being 2 1st, Boobie or Drew, 4.5 mil in expirings , with consolations of players that can hold the fort down such as Hughes and DJ. If Boobie was traded instead of Drew , we would have to give Donyell.

I don't think people realize how bad Carter's contract is. and how long it is.

I wouldn't trade Boobie. His game fits too well with LeBron.

Kidd's not a terrific shooter, but at least he doesn't force shots like Hughes does. Personally if he's in Cleveland I think he'll shoot a lot better. He clearly doesn't want to be in NJ. In last years' playoffs (12 games), Kidd shot 43% and 42% on 3PTs along with 15 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds.
