I was just taking issue with the 'Houston not a very good team' thing which was misleading with our play since January.

I can see why you would respond like that. We get that alot of from other teams, it just gets old in a hurry. Congrats, a win is a win and we both need them right now. At this point, I just want the All Star break to get here so our guys can heal up. I don't know why we get so hated on here at realgm, Cavs have to be one of the most underated teams in the league.

Man maybe we shouldn't deal Gooden afterall.

If AV goes down (which he always does) our other bigs are complete trash.

It's not hate.. It's the fact that we've gone into places like Dallas, San Antonio, LA (all teams superior to the Rox) and won with a better effort..

Granted, we were very thin up front tonight, but the effort was lacking...

We're rarely out-rebounded, especially +10 on the offensive boards... However, guys like Battier and Wells were tipping them, which is an indication that guys like LBJ, Brown and Hughes should have been hitting the glass harder...

So it was effort coupled with being thin up front IMO

I find it funny that teams are proud of beating us right now and talking trash about it. We had the lead down to 5 late in the 4th and we started Ira Newble and Donyell Marshall.

I've never thought we had enough bigs to begin with, but I didn't expect both PF's to go down at the same time. Heck I've always thought we were loaded with SG's but who'd have thought that we'd be without Sasha and Gibson at the same time either.

Yeah, I'm not trying to be a hater. I was on the Lebron is God bandwagon last year when he led the Cavs to the Finals and I was hoping he had another one of those godlike series he had against the Pistons for the Spurs. The Cavs have more opportunity to make hay than us so I'll wish you luck and can sympathize with the injuries. Ugh

Good luck

essentially our 4 (gooden), 5 (pavlovic), 6 (varejao) and 7 (gibson) players in the rotation could possibly be injured for tommorows game and were unavaible at the end of tonights game...thats insane

were basically starting players 10 (newble) and 11 (marshall) in the rotation and our first two players off the bench are players 8 (jones) and 9 (brown)

1 mvp
2 z
3 lh
10 ira
11 hotbuttered

off the bench
8 jones
9 brown
12 jones

this is gettin ri-damn-diculous

Good game guys. I hope LeBron gets MVP for the season. Good luck in the playoffs and the regular season.

Good luck to both teams.

It is stupid to say that Rox would be better playing with Tmac hurt. He shoots 44% this season. Not great but not by any means bricking especially considering he is usually given special attention from the defense. And he has been shooting quite well since he came back from the knee problem this time.

And it is not a stretch to say that Rox has Cavs' number. Since LBJ came the league, Rox is 8:3 against Cavs. Since Tmac joined Rox, Rox is 7:2 against Cavs (one loss at Cleveland and the other Tmac missed).

LBJ is playing great, but he needs more help, even in the EC.

Rox needs a lot of things work out in order to fight in the WC.

Again, good luck.

The Cavs vs the West 14-8 Including losses without LeBron
The Rockets vs the West 16-13

Any questions?

The Cavs are 13-12 against EC
The Rox are 13-7 against EC including lesses without Tmac

Maybe the two teams should swap conferences. I don't think Cavs are willing to do it.

Given the records of both teams so far this season, there is no need for either fans to say "... is not even a good team". Rox at least have had a dominant record against Cavs in recent years.

Too many injuries.

If the Cavs would have shown some more intensity in the first 3 quarters, they may have had a shot, but they came out flat and didn't take advantage of the Rockets struggling from the perimeter early.

The margin for error is so slim with no Sasha, AV, and Gooden. Z struggled tonight and that can't happen if you plan on winning tough road games. Gibson going down late while making a push didn't help matters either.

Marshall and Dwayne Jones put on a pitiful display. These guys are lucky to even have jobs. Them starting and be the first big off the bench respectively is incredibly difficult to stomach.

I think most rox fans posting here are humbler than your mod is.
