^agreed but Lebron had a pretty sick stat line..And some crazy dunks at the end though Ray should get some credit for changing the game with those 3 straight three's...
props to Lebron for mentioning Ray though..classy

I was actually hoping that LeBron wouldn't win just so that I could avoid all the idiotic whining. Allen was more flashy down the stretch though. Of course LeBron wasn't bad at the end other than the airball. But the player that truly deserved the MVP for leading the team was Kidd. In fact it was Kidd not playing that allowed for all the horrible shots by Bosh and Pierce that led to the game getting close.

Anyone notice how awful the Pistons played in the game? They were -8, -18 and -20 in the plus/minus dept.

definitely agree about kidd. there was so much of difference when he was on the floor than billups
if they would have given out a lvp, i think it would have been either bosh or billups. both were pretty awful

I was hoping he'd get a triple double. Heck he had 19, 8 and 8 after three quarters.

LeBron really didn't get the ball all that much in the forth until it was down to win or lose. He was on the floor when Billups was heaving up everything in sight.

Okay, now this is funny..Read from 43-to the end.. Look at how sad and pathetic this group of people are...I get a chuckle out of their frustration to the point that they seem to suffer from a disorder...

Without even looking around realgm yet I can only imagine whats being said about LeBron. I knew watching the game what the realgm community would be saying, and I know now what they are saying. I probably shouldnt even look, but I know I will anyway. H8ters.
Bow to the King.

Oh and the best players for the East were clearly:
LeBron
Allen
Howard
Kidd
The worst were:
The Pistons
Also Bosh pissed me off all night with his softness

The amount of hate for LeBron is ridiculous. He's in 5 of the top-10 plays of the game from NBA.com.

This is why I ultimately started liking Kobe and started sympathizing with his fans. They had to deal with this kind of garbage for years and we are now getting to understand how ridiculously criticized these guys are. When you're on top (like Kobe and LeBron are) people will do everything they can to drag you down. Pretty ridiculous what lengths people will go to try to make themselves feel better.
Oh and that Toronto thread is hilarious. Do those Raptor homers realize that if Bosh had finished even half of those looks LeBron got him that LBJ would have finished with like 40 assists???? They act like LeBron killed their mascot or something. So he pushed that Moon guy out of the way. What was Moon doing standing in front of the players anyway?

That picture is great.
You are right Bmac, it really was Bosh's softness and inability to finish his many bunnies along with the terrible shot selection of Billups that even allowed this game to get close again.
I can only guess that Moon was coming over to continue to promote his inevitable win in the dunk contest. At least LeBron was coming over to congratulate his teammate.

Well deserved for LeBron but man I wish the all-star ceremonies were a bit longer. They should extend it a couple more days.

Yep get used to it because it comes with the territory. The sad thing is people will try and validate their hatred of lebron by pointing out every little thing he does(like they do with kobe). they will try and call him selfish, and a whiner and so forth. The only thing I can say is take it in stride, and know that 99.9% of the haters would be drooling over lebron if he were on their team.
