what is the some-what realistic lineup you would like to see

Post#1 » by LiquidFire » Wed Feb 20, 2008 2:51 am

not all superstars, but really key roll players that would be perfect for our system, and is not tooooo far fetched..

mine would have to be..

PG: Kirk Hinrich
SG: Mike Miller
SF: Lebron James
PF: AV
C: Big Z

i know its not really realistic, but if we combined the two trade rumors from the past... gooden + hughes for hinrich and wallace.... and then pavs, newble, brown for mike miller. i think that would be the perfect lineup for our system. again, im not saying its reasonable, but those were rumers before.

whats yours?

For this year, I just want one trade - bring in Mike Miller to play the 2

Larry/Miller/James/Drew/Z with a bench of Boobie/AV/Sasha/Devin and all 9 guys healthy for the playoffs.

i still think hinrich is the perfect pg for our system despite what anyone says, i think his value is at an all time low atm and he really isn't out of reach for the cavs right now. I think if it takes gooden give them gooden as long as it's not boobs or james im for it.

i still think i maybe the single cavs fan that would put a negative on the mike miller trade not that i wouldnt do a pavs newbile and brown for him, but i dont think he would be as valuable to this team as people think. His defense is definately one thing that is being over looked by cavs fans. You can give him the benifit of the doubt and say he is an average defender but i beg to differ. Granted the guy does try but he is not quite there, you dont want lebron out here having to play both ends night in and out hughes posses way more value than people give him credit for and thats why he stays on the floor becuase he can gaurd the best player on the opposing perimiter miller cant. And larry is not a pg i don't like the idea of playing him at pg and i dont like the idea of making a change to keep him there. I would actually rather have hughes start at the 2 over mike miller based on the fact that he still has the ability to take pressure off of lebron on the other side of the ball. If we make a deal we need to pick up a guy that can play d as well as the guys we already have. That is still our strength defense and rebounding by picking up a pure offensive player we are sort of taking away what already makes this team good and creating a new problem. Miller imo is not the answer and im going to stand by that
