I dont have a link handy, but X-Rays were all negative and things look a lot better than they first were thought.
Gibson himself said in the lockerroom after the game that its not as bad as he first though.
Fred McCloud was on the radio today saying pretty much the same thing.
Sounds like he wont be out long, if at all.

It looked real bad...looked like a knee injury at first
Hopefully he doesn't miss much time!

It's an ankle sprain to go along with our all ankle sprain team of Sasha, Anderson and not Gibson. Man, can a team be hurt by as many small injuries as this?

I was apparently wrong about that one earlier. Windhorst said Boobie might be out for a while now.
We are going to be short handed for some time still. Hopefully these new guys get here soon or we might play a game with like 7 players.

yep. I think he would get it by default even if boobie was healthy.

Boobie is injury prone - he has gone down fairly consistently now the last couple years.
Acquiring West is a good move because when he goes down, we still have good shooting @ the PG spot with West/Damon Jones.

Anyone that catches a check like he received would be going down for a while. I don't think that's indicative of a player that's prone to injury. That was just bad luck.

i like West and think on THIS team he should be the starting PG but I can't see him starting tomorrow...
I'd rather take my chances with E Snow, Devin Brown or Damon Jones for tomorrow than hand the reigns over to a guy who hasn't even practiced with the team yet.
but then again we don't have even two days in a row off until March 3 and 4
the upcoming schedule is busy!
