Folks, I have not watched a second of the first half as I pursue some hot trade rumors with the Cavs. They are being very active and are in talks over a blockbuster that has not been reported yet. It does not involve Mike Miller. More to come later.
The bolded part must be to ensure none of us get any sleep tonight.

Vince Carter? OR perhaps a deal with Portland?

exactly haha. Surprisingly, I forgot I had an account so my posts are so low, but I am going to be up all night trying to find out what these supposed blockbusters are. Can we make this the official "post your findings" thread. Haha just a thought as I will not sleep and need a definite place to find out new information

Too bad he didn't watch the second half, was a good game, 2nd triple in a row for LeBron. I still don't see a big trade that actually works for us, so this isn't that big of a deal.

yup, just don't see it happening. The only really tradeable piece we have is Gooden and we can't trade him.

so if we're getting a first rounder it's easy to assume that it's gonna be a bad contract. what do you guys think?
maybe with bulls for wallace?

I saw that and got the impression it is making up for a bad trade.

Eddie Curry or Vince carter would make some sense considering the comment about the first rounder.
Jermaine Oneal?

Okay...shoot me for thinking this...BUT, WHAT IF.....
The Cavaliers are trying to deal with NY... for Curry,Lee and Crawford?
THAT would definitely be Blockbuster.
New York Outgoing Players: Jamal Crawford, Renaldo Balkman, David Lee, Malik Rose, Eddy Curry
Cleveland Outgoing Players: Sasha Pavlovic, Larry Hughes, Drew Gooden, Daniel Gibson, Dwayne Jones

Windhorst said it's a "1 for 1" trade, not multiple players and that it would change the dynamic of how the Cavs play.
To me, that seems like it's Z being involved in these talks but for who? He also said the hangup is the Cavs are asking for a #1 draft choice in the deal.
So you put those 2 thing together, and it sounds like Z for a Guard with a big contract. That's the only thing I can think of. Maybe Z for Jason Terry or Z for Carter?

hmmm, i doubt it's memphis cause there's no way they'll give up a first. they could be the second trade he talks about. Assuming it's wallace + pick for hughes, we could do the miller trade.
i'm rambling

it would be someone who doesn't handle the ball very often as well wouldn't it, since he said it wouldn't really effect LeBron.

OMG that would be terrible.

No, not necessarily. Think of the all-star game: LeBron had a similar stat-line to tonight's game...yet he played with Ray Allen, Billups, Rondo, Kidd, etc, etc - ALL Ball-handlers.
LeBron's style of play isn't gonna change REGARDLESS of who they bring in.
He just about had the first-ever triple-double in all-star history...against the best of the best. No trade changes LeBron.

Windhorst said it for a reason.

The Cavs better not trade Z. That would be incredibly dumb and Ferry should immediately be fired if that happens cause we surely aren't getting an equal big back in return
Also Windhorst covering his ass with this 50/50 stuff again makes me feel nothing will be done. Ferry's track record has been marginal moves - if we do anything, I'd guess that will be it.
