Game 55: Wizards @ Cavaliers (8pm on ESPN)

The Wizards have been playing terrible basketball lately. They were fighting with us and Toronto for the 4/5 seeds, but now just trying to stay afloat. Lucky for them (and us) the East is so weak this year. With the Cavs only having 6 healthy players after this trade. The Cavs were forced to sign a pair of D-League players. The Cavs signed F Kaniel Dickens and G Billy Thomas to 10 day contracts today. This could be an ugly game and it's on national television.

Probable lineups
Washington
G- Antonio Danels
G- Deshawn Stevenson
F- Andray Blatche
F- Antwan Jamison
C- Brandon Haywood

Cleveland
G- Eric Snow
G- Damon Jones
F- Devin Brown
F- LeBron James
C- Zydrunas Illgauskus

Caron Butler may or may not play for them. He's listed as day to day. Hopefully he's out. Don't really wish injury, but we're so thin right now. We need all the help we can get.

Cavs Bench tonight is Dwayne Jones, Billy Thomas and Kaniel Dickins. :o

Over/Under on LeBron taking 35 shots tonight?

Wiz fan here. We were actually just a game behind Orlando for the 3rd seed until the injuries hit. Even with the losses it seems like we were proud with the way we were playing. Weve been without our 2 best players and AD which means that we had no PG but we still were going on the road in the West and losing to the top teams by 1 or 2 points. Then came the last game against the Knicks where we had like a 9pt like with a few minutes left and lost the game. We looked like crap the whole game which was pretty much the 1st time in a long time that weve looked that way.

AD is now back but both him & Deshawn are playing on one leg. I actually wish that they would sit but I guess they kind of need to play. Caron will be out again tonight but hopefully we may have caught you guys with all your men out and have a shot. If we play like we did against the Knicks then you guys will still kill us but if we played like we did in all the other games then we will have a shot

Yeah us too, if we play like we do in our wins we should fair pretty well. But if we play like we do in our losses than the outlook doesn't look so bleak.

anyone watching the game might have just heard this..

a reporter asked lebron what he thought of the trade.
he responded by saying this isn't what i wanted, you know what i wanted but i am grateful.

wonder if that means lebron's even less happy

is there a reason why ben wallace, wally, and delonte west aren't playing tonight? have they not taken their physical yet or something? because all three are at the game.

lol.. If the Cavs win this game, the Wiz fans are going to go crazy. The way the game started I thought they'd run us off our own court before halftime.

LeBron and Z need to get more aggressive. We're hanging around, but I'm not sure we'll stay in the game the way its being played. Not like I expect to win this one, but I'd love to see us take it.

No kidding. I love the trade as much as anyone, but I don't need to watch them eat snacks and read magazines.

OOOOOH man Antonio Daniels just landed hard. He's in some real pain. I hope he's okay.

Daniels paid the price for that dunk. I don't think he got it in on time, but they'll likely give them the basket. Good first half for the shorthanded Cavs. We have a chance still to win this one.
