Game 57: Cavaliers @ Bucks (2/26, 8pm on FSN-OH)

Probable Lineups
Cleveland
G- Delonte West
G- Devin Brown
F- LeBron James
F- Ben Wallace
C- Zydrunas Ilgauskus

Milwaukee
G- Mo Williams
G- Michael Redd
F- Desmond Mason
F- Charlie Villanueva
C- Andrew Bogut

Who knows with our lineup, that could change. I expect Devin to be replaced in the starting lineup at some point. We're all hopefull of Varejao's return for this game(everything I've seen says this is the game he comes back). Gibson and Pavlovic are definately out for this one though. Bucks coming off an impressive come from behind win vs Denver. Cavs are coming off a win in the debut of the new guys. Figured I'd go ahead and get this up since we usually get some Bucks visitors. I don't really know what to expect, but I'll take the homer route. If I have the Bucks lineup wrong, I welcome any changes from the opposing fans. It should be a fun game. Cavs are 5-1 in my game threads.

Prediction:
Cavaliers 102, Bucks 97

I think the key to this one is going to be keeping the Bucks of the glass, which is a strength for the Cavs. In Milwaukee's win over Denver, they had 20 offensive rebounds (53 total). Don't expect Ben Wallace and Z (and hopefully AV) to let that happen.

Don't sleep on Milwaukee at home though, they are more than formidable there, recently beating Detroit and Denver (15-11 overall at home). And we all know what Michael Redd is capable of on any given night.

I expect the Cavs to come out strong still feeding off the energy from the trade, and get a big win. Pre-trade, this would be one of those games that the Cavs would take control of but let the other team back in it (and sometimes repeat the process), so it will be interesting to see if the new guys come out and change that trend. I think they will, Cavs by 12.

With Boston up tomorrow, I will be interested to see if Bron sits more minutes if we are up some. I know we need to get used to working together and need to get the bugs out of the system but we need to plan for tomorrow also. I'd like to see the starting five with Wally in for a few and Bron getting a blow in the fourth up by 20.

I think its more important to keep lb playing with the new guys than to sit him for the upcoming boston game. meshing with so many new guys is going to be difficult as is, so all the court time they can get together the better.

Who else is pretty freaking excited? I normally cant get enough of this team, but now since the trade it feels like that need has doubled.

The Bucks have arguably the dullest atmosphere in the league.. It rivals only the Hawks, Nets, Grizzlies and Clippers..

I've been waiting ALL day for this game...and as soon as it is over, I'll be counting the minutes until the Boston game...so I feel ya!

I think that Varejao will rotate with Ilgauskas a lot today and Smith will rotate with Wallace a lot today as Mike Brown and the Cavs try to figure out their best pairings, etc in the front-court.

I'm expecting a better performance from Delonte West, and a Cavaliers win after LeBron's big speech at their dinner following the Memphis stomping.

So Andy in his first game back since injury, Ben in his second game with the team to start? Well I guess for all the opposing fans I've read about how horrible that combo would be for us. They'll have their shot at looking at it.

I'm with ya BMac, this game can't start fast enough.

Z is out? The Cavs really are getting little to no breaks this year. Hopefully he returns tomorrow.

Delonte can fly

I love the fact that Anderson went all Harlem Globetrotter on the first basket

Man its nice to see your team play high IQ bball. I hope my team beats you in the long run, but it was a shame that the team with the best player in the league was so dumb.

We're getting sloppy on offense again

Too many turnovers. Milwaukee has not shown that they can score in the half court but we're giving them chances to run out

It's not to our benefit though against this team. Maybe its just from Z being out for the night. I'd rather not get all the guys legs tired for tommorow's game with Boston.
