Ya know, it doesn't have to be that one team won and the other lost in a trade. Hopefully the change in scenery and style of play will benefit all the players and their new teams. As noted above Ben doesn't have to carry the load here he was expected to in Chicago, Joe Smith will be steady wherever he plays, and Wally is only expected to knock down the open 3's LeBron provides him. The biggest difference-maker IMO is the addition of Delonte West. The kid's got moxy and when he learns to play with LeBron he's gonna be the one to stick around and have the most impact.
