Ridiculous, we haven't been healthy whole season and it's getting worse and worse.

Yeah, I really don't think there have been many teams that have lost as many man/games as we have this year. But, injuries are part of the game and you have to play through them. Hopefully this just allows someone else to step up.

On the positive side of this - By Ilgauskas sitting out (he's played heavy minutes all year), it will allow Wallace, Smith and Varejao to get adjusted to each other and to play more minutes, developing team chemistry that will be important in the post-season. Zydrunas needed a rest anyway, so even if he is ready in a couple days, I'd prefer him to sit out for a couple weeks so he's fresh for the playoffs.

This is what I eluded to last night. I wasnt sure how long he'd be out, but I knew it would be more than a just a couple of games. 2 weeks is a little more than I expected though.

Get a rest Z, then come back for the final push and give us all you got left.

The wiretap says 1 week. I really don't care how long he's out as long as he's ready to go for the playoffs. Z is easily the second most important player on this team.

Geez, we can't catch a break this year. I though AC said he had the flu. This sucks. Get well soon big guy. BTW, how much longer is Pavlovic out?

Couple more weeks. They are reporting that he's doing light-jogging, so that is a GREAT sign!

As for Zydrunas...he needed this rest. He's been getting used a LOT this year...between injuries to other players and trades,etc.

As long as Wally and Jones are making their 3's we'll be okay. I also have more respect for Varejao offensively than most people.
