Game 72 - Hornets @ Cavs

Post#1 » by LeQuitterNotMVP » Thu Mar 27, 2008 12:19 am

No game thread? Anyway, Cavs are looking OK, we're very sloppy on the offensive end though.

But the big story is Joe Tait's 3000th game. This guy will go down as a legend.

LeBron 06-07 is back. I hope he will go back to normal in the playoffs.

I really think he's trying to let these other guys get used to having to carry the load a bit.

Devin is definitely having an inauspicious game. First he fouls the 3 point shooter and then he travels? Very bad plays to make down the stretch in a tight game. He might need to be disappear in the 4th like the Cavs didn't Hughes.

LeBron with only 17 and he doesn't look to score...I guess his 20-points streak is coming to its end.

We really are a totally different team than last year. We make way too many mistakes late in the game and can't get stops at all.

WTF is wrong with our rebounding. Please tell me that Gooden didn't make that much of a difference. We have given up way too many 2nd chance points.

By the way, it's games like this that make me wonder why people rank Z so low among centers. He's still easily in the top 10 and probably among the top 6-7.

^^^^

Yes... Z is a big pressure release in your offense. Which is a god send given that you do not have an offense.

How much do you bet that there'll be a foul called against the Cavs?

Didn't David West do that exact same thing against us last year or the year before?

Didn't I hear someone say stay at home? Why was West all alone? Paul was not going to get a shot up over LeBron at all.

That was Sasha's missed wide open layup early in the game and Joe Smith unusually missing both free throws...oh well.
