I'd like to trade you some stuff for Big Z

My thought is that Z isn't going to finish his contract in Cleveland given your aquisition of Wallace.
The Warriors need length, need post scoring, but need it from a guy who can also step out to hit a 18 footer and pass, or Nellie won't play them. He was willing to give Webber a tryout, Z is Webber +1,000,000. I'm thinking of building a deal around Al Harrington, and a Mike Petrus sign and trade for Pavs.
What would it take to sweeten that deal? Picks are in play, Belinelli is in play, Azibukie is in play.
Monta, Andris and Wright are not in play.
Is there a deal to be made here?

Z is probably not the guy you want for your suns on roids offense. And Z's a perfect fit for coach brown's random offense.

umm.. you do realise big z is honestly the slowest person in the league?
and our GM and bigz are great friends, i dont see anything happening.

Oh, I know Z is slow, but you didn't see Webber playing with a walker out there.
Nellie is only going to be here for 8 more months or so, he never finishes his final season.
We don't particularly want to be the smallest, chuckingest team in the league next year. We need some kind of post scoring and we need more shot blocking.
The biggest attractant is that Z has range, and can pass. If we aren't going to find a superhuman Dwight/Wilt/David Robinson specimen that Nellie will adore, we need a big guy who has refined skills, even if not athletic.
I know Ferry and Z have covered a lot of ground together, but I would think the Wallace thing necessitates some changes. $25million on player who play the same position is a lot of change. Harrington would be a pretty big positive in your system, kind of like a Donyell with effort.

The other thought was that the Pete/Pavs deal would bring you a guy who likes to defend the primary scoring option. That would protect Bron from tougher assignments/fouls/exhaustion.
It's purely hypothetical. Nellie is an idiot when it comes to bigs. But hypothetically, I'm trying to make both teams better, emotional attachments aside. (Al is my main man.)

I don't see the Cavs trading Z

Ok, I can see he's a fan favorite and a tenured Cav. As a Jason Richardson fan, I can hear you loud and clear.
Let me ask it this way, is the problem that there aren't enough goods in this deal, or is it that you simply can't see trading Z away?
P.S. I am not here to rape you.

It's what your offering....
Z is far more valuable to us than anything you have to offer...
Anything would have to be around Ellis or Davis...
Although I would think about a Biedrins and Wright/Harrington...
Overall, I know all these will be rejected by the Warriors... I just don't think the two teams are a good fit to be trading partners because we need a legit low-post scorer in return or we would have to find one with our expirings...
But if you want to give us Monta...

No monta, no Dre, no Baron. Z isn't worth any of those. He's 33 with foot and back trouble. . . cmon
What about plugging a 1st into the deal I've started with? I do have to honor your point about post scoring. That's the same reason we would be interested. My thought was that the pick might get you access to a post scoring project.
I think I also forgot to include that our Euro draft project Kosta Perovic was to be filler as well (he has done absolutely nothing in the NBA yet, but he's a 7'3" infant.)

Z may not be worth it to you, but he's easily the Cavs 2nd most important player, a fan favorite and best friends with the GM (not to mention he's a tenured Cav).

I guess as an outsider I see a cap logjam holding both Wallace and Z. Obviously Wallace has had a pretty stinky year, but you have to get something out of him at that position at that salary. Z is obviously not the problem, but I just couldn't envision that much salary at one position for not having a truly dominant player.
If the Cavs has enough loyalty to Z to pay them both, then I salute the character of your Org. (In all seriousness.) Our cheap bastard owner would never honor roots and loyalty that way.

I would do Z for Harrington and Wright. Harrington would be a really nice option coming off the bench and Wright would be a good big man for the future (something I think we really need). Outside of that, I don't see much there because you clearly won't want to trade Monta, Baron or Dre.
Or if you really don't want to get rid of Wright then I would do a Jackson/Harrington/2009 1st rounder for Z/Pavs and maybe someone else.
The problem with a Z trade is that he is more valuable to us than he would be to you.

If we were going to trade one between Wallace and Z it definately wouldnt be Z. I would put Z in ALMOST the same category as LeBron on the likely to be traded list....

Along with all the reasons from Cavs fans above, another factor is that if Z were traded, Big Ben would be expected to carry the bulk of the inside load which is not one of his strengths. Ben will be somewhere between the player he was from Detroit and the player he was in Chicago, that's providing he doesn't suffer from ongoing back problems and has another big to play off of a la Sheed and now Z. As a Bull he's shown he can't be expected to be the major big
Lt. Dan has shown a willingness to spend into luxury tax range so 25 mil on that position next year is not a major consideration, especially when it's likely that Eric Snow will either now be dealt as an expiring contract or will retire on disability wiping his 7 mil off the cap total.
Personally I'd like to see us resign Joe Smith and Devin Brown at reasonable salaries because I think both have proven valuable and wouldn't suffer the decline most players do just after signing a new contract.
What the Cavs really need is someone who is not intimidated by LeBron, someone with enough skill and confidence in their ability to be a major threat on their own. Big Z is probably the closest thing we have to that kind of player but he's still dependent on the smalls getting him the ball. Although I've never been a fan of Richard Jefferson, either him or someone like him that can start at the #2 spot (and yes I know he's a 3).

Z is not going anywhere especially for the bad pieces that you just offered us.
If the price is right though Dwayne Jones could be yours to have
