There was no way to trade for Delonte and Wally and keep Hughes.

Along with that... I wish we wouldnt have drafted Luke Jackson (Al Jefferson) , Dajuan Wagner (Amare Stoudamire), Dasagana Diop (Joe Johnson), and Shannon Brown (Jordan Farmar). I wish we wouldnt have traded a 2007 first rounder (#24) for "the player we do not speak of" and we would have drafted someone like Carl Landry instead. I wish we would have kept Matt Barnes, and Kelenna Azibuke.

Can you imagine that team?

Joe Johnson / Azibuke
LeBron James / Kapono / Barnes
Stoudemire / Boozer
Z / Jefferson / Landry



I know I know its nice to dream, and we probably would have never ended up with LeBron etc.. if we landed Johnson and Amare, but I mean damn are we horrible drafters, and Im not even including players like Langdon, Crawford/Mihm, Haywood, etc... We flat out suck at drafting in the first round. Second round we are golden (Boozer, Kapono, Gibson) but its just ridiculous to think of all the talent we have missed on over the years.

Exactly why we should trade every years 1st round choice and player for a 2nd round choice and better player. But if LeBron Jr. comes out of high school we should use it, but only then.
