First of all, I don't see this series getting dirty. I think this will be a clean series, as the Captains from each team have the same goal, and really don't want to trash-talk...outside of usual on-court babble.

I'm gonna give a few scenarios to how I see this series shaping-up.

#1 Cavs win game one - If the Cavaliers win game #1, then I would give the Cavs a 82% chance of winning the series, and most-likely winning in 6 games.

#2 Boston wins games 1 & 2 - If the Celtics take both of the first two games, I give them a 94% chance of winning the series, and likely in 6 games or less.

#3 If Cavs win game 2, but lose game one, then I give the Cavs a 57% chance of winning the series in six games; If it goes 7, then reverse the percentage +3% for the Celtics.

If the Celtics manage to take the first two games, then I give them a 48% chance of winning game 3, and a 41% chance at a sweep.

If Cleveland takes the first two games in Boston, then I give them a 98% chance of winning the series, and a 62% chance at a sweep.

If The series goes seven games, Boston has the homecourt advantage and a 60% chance at winning the series.

Likely outcome of series:

BOS 4-2 37%
CLE 4-2 33%
BOS 4-3 11%
CLE 4-3 8%
CLE 4-1 4%
BOS 4-0 3%
BOS 4-1 3%
CLE 4-0 1%

^^ so no matter what happens, you're right? Way to nail down a pick.

I'll take Cavs in 6.

I think that the Cavs are going to close it out in game 6, at home. I don't want it to go back to Boston for a game 7. I think that we need to close this series out at home.

Not much of a math person huh?

Well, based on the statistics that heath provided... Maybe winning game 1 would be the key to winning the series.

Both teams are great and would represent the east in the finals well. I have no idea how this series will play out.

My predictions for this series are:

Cavs win the series.
Cavs lose the series.

Seriously, if Lebron plays like he did in game 1 again, forget about it. I doubt it though, he'll have a big game next game.

I'd much rather see Lakers vs. Cavs than the Celtics.
